Pop culture is still deconstructing in America. Sean Diddy Combs led the modern extreme abuse-language culture of the 1990s, but the piper has invoiced, and it’s about over for him. Kanye West left the faith. Rushing Simon the Sorcerer to the front of the auditorium to take the pulpit just three months after he’s baptized is not a very good idea. Interestingly, pop music icons became the pastors of the modern evangelical church during the 2010s and early 2020s. Not smart.
