Introducing Daniel Zahr, Daniel Danny Zahr is a close friend of your host Kenny Bhullar's. On this featured episode, we learn about what the definition of friendship means from two men who have evolved their level of friendship over the years. We also take a personal deep dive into why Danny decided to pursue business and the automotive industry over professional boxing as a full time career. This was a major breaking point in Danny's life, but a decision he certainly does not regret making. Fun Fact: Daniel has competed in several boxing fights! Since retiring from fighting in the ring, he fuels his passion for fighting by assisting fighters such as undefeated middleweight MMA champion KB Bhullar on refining their boxing technique.

Upon graduating from his Bachelor of Commerce degree, Daniel has been working full time at his family business empire as a Finance Manager. At Car West Leduc, Danny and his family fully service used vehicles across multiple brands including luxury vehicles. At Car West "customer service is not a department, it is a way of life."

"Alexandre Molinaro was born on June 3, 1996, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, being raised in the Rio Comprido neighborhood, located in the center (Centro) of Rio.

From a very young age, Alexandre's parents tried to have him practicing sports. First through swimming, and later through judo, though neither captivated Molinaro's interest. On October 2009, at the age of 13, Alexandre finally found something he enjoyed – jiu-jitsu. The main reason for this enthusiasm was that BJJ was similar to judo (which he had practiced) but lacked the physicality of the Japanese art of throwing. Instead of having to be athletic to play the game, Molinaro believed he could just as easily sit back and play guard, something that appealed a great deal to the young Rio de Janeiro native, who struggled with excess weight at the time.

The famous Vinicius Aieta (Vini) of Gracie Tijuca Academy, was Molinaro's first instructor and the man who conducted Alexandre from white to purple belt, quickly becoming one of Brazil's rising stars under the prestigious coach's leadership.

By the end of 2015, Molinaro traveled to the United States together with his good friend Kauan Barboza to compete at the IBJJF No-Gi Pan. The idea was to stay for a whole month in the US, to compete on both the aforementioned Pan and the No-Gi World Championship, taking the chance to also visit close relatives who lived in New Jersey. While traveling through the Northern Emysphere, Alexandre met Carlson Gracie South Bay coach, André Vasconcelos – also known as Alemão. Vasconcelos was most impressed by Molinaro, inviting him to be part of a professional team he was building, a perfect opportunity for Alexandre to live from competing, which he took wholeheartedly.

Under Alemão's guidance, Alexandre earned his brown and black belts, the latter on June 5, 2017, just a few days after his 21st birthday."

Introducing RCMP Officer and Cancer Survivor Michael Jaszczyszyn

Michael is the one and only man we know who did everything in his power to miraculously survive optic nerve glioma cancer. He also put his life and reputation on the line by doing whatever it took to fight for his rightful job back as Constable for the RCMP; currently, Michael is now an acting corporal at the Stony Plain Detatchment.

Fighting for his rightful place back as Constable, Michael had to convince multiple high level decision makers to work for RCMP's frontline again... with only being able to see in one eye.

"I was more or less told no many many times by many people. Though there were two primary occasions when I was told no at the highest levels. The first was when I initially tried to get back after having met the basic standards. Then again after I made my submissions with all the cases I had. They still denied me and presented me with a paper as to why." - Michael

In this special "How To Survive" episode, Michael shares with us the amount of times he was denied the ability to work his dream job. He also share's his final courageous, daring shot at connecting the dots - how the result of his actions can lead to a well deserved victory if one has the patience and willpower to conquer through anything that comes in the way of their dreams.

Amit Kanwar has always had a passion for entrepreneurship and has been in the world of business since his teenage years. In 2019, Amit co-founded MT MyCloset with his wife Naina Batra Kanwar. Amit has utilized his background and work experience to formulate seamless business processes, optimization of operations and built a key marketing strategy for MT MyCloset.

This initiative was sparked from a closet full of East Indian clothing. "Everyone has seen my clothes, I can't wear them anymore." This spark turned into a business idea to focus on a luxury, minimalistic feel to sell your East Indian clothing, Luxury Goods and Men's formal wear across the globe. MT MyCloset provides a platform to sell, buy, follow closets and purchase from local boutiques worldwide!

In addition to this new start up, Amit is running operations for a well-known local family business, Punjab Jewellers and is spearheading a private lending business, YEG Trust.

Amit continues to pursue new strategies to help all three businesses grow organically and with a strong push on customer satisfaction. He believes the key to a strong business is marketing, service and making an impact within the community.

In addition to keeping busy - Amit loves to travel, stay active and spend quality time with his friends and family.
