After the holiday weekend, the OPEN sign is on and it’s back to business. Since the Dallas Mavericks couldn’t close out the Timberwolves, we decided to go in a different direction. There have been some recently proposed changes to the NFL offseason, specifically related to OTAs. With the Pack back in town, we felt it was relevant to discuss. The conference finals are now set, with Indiana facing the Boston Celtics and the Minnesota Timberwolves taking on the Dallas Mavericks. One young superstar is guaranteed to win their first ring with these matchups. It feels like Jayson Tatum has been battling for one for years! Can Kyrie help guide Luka to glory? Will Tyrese Haliburton lead the pesky Pacers to the finish line? Or will it be Anthony Edwards channeling his inner Kobe/MJ and cementing his status as THEE next guy? Basically, Rivers claims that there are way more current NBA players that could be transplanted into the NFL and play but not the other way around. He literally said the list would be 30 players long. Despite dude being a bum, does he have a point? Cisco took the time to compile a list so pull up and join in! We know it feels like forever and a day ago but the Deli is back but with some sad news. Due to a CWD (chronic wasting disease) recall, our venison is no longer available. After being ousted by the Indiana Pacers, the Milwaukee Bucks added another 1st round exit to their resume. Tune in as the guys give a brief breakdown of the series and highlight the offseason concerns that the franchise is facing. With no salary cap space and minimal draft assets, on top of the high probability of losing their GM, can the Bucks find a way to return to form? The guys think there’s a way but they need to get a little lucky or else the Buck will stop here.

Tune in as the crew breaks down the 2024 NFL draft, giving a round by round review of their favorite and least favorite picks, as well as a review of all 11 picks made by Gutey and the team. Who won the draft? Who were the biggest losers? Did the Packers make the cut? Do the Bears still suck? That one’s rhetorical folks.

The end of the NBA regular season has come and that means the Deli is open and ready to talk 1st Round playoff matchups! Of course we have the play-in games with some matchups not yet determined but we’re going to do our best to predict the outcome. We already know the Lakers are in and the Warriors are out. Is this the end of the Warrior dynasty? Will Zion ever be healthy when it counts? Will the defending champs hold up against LeBron’s closing window? In the East, is it finally the Celtics turn? The guys feel the Bucks will be one and done in the first round and not just because of Giannis’s availability. Will the Heat magic show up…spoiler alert…Jimmy Buckets most likely is out so their chances of making the 8th spot look slim (Sorry Kevin Ellis).

The Deli is back like it never closed…wait…we didn’t! That’s right folks, we had a lot to say so we’re blessing you with another episode! If you didn’t know, our guy J. Cole dropped an album last Friday and it’s getting big attention! With Ryan being such a huge fan, we thought it would be a disservice to wait even longer to talk about. I mean, if we’re not podding would you even be discussing us? The album is dope but unfortunately catching flack due to Cole’s apology for the Kendrick Lamar diss track, 7 Minute Drill. Is this even a real beef? Does it take away from the quality of the album? Should fans be upset that he apologized?

The Deli is back and it’s late in the week but these meatballs took longer to assemble than we expected. No diddy. Regardless, we’re here and ready to recap the NCAA men’s and women’s National Championships. On the men’s side, UCONN smothered the perimeter against Purdue, coasting to a 75 - 60 victory to secure the first back to back titles since 2007. On the women’s side, the Great White Hype wasn’t enough to overcome South Carolina’s top ranked defense as the Gamecocks capped off an undefeated season with a 87 - 75 win, bringing home their 3rd title since 2017.
