New year, same Deli! Come on in as the guys celebrate another Victory Monday on the first day of the new year. The Green Bay Packers put on a show worthy of NYE as they dominated the Minnesota Vikings in their Week 17 win. Jordan Love garnered the spotlight with his performance but he wasn’t alone. Aaron Jones looked like he was back to his old self and the offensive line did their thing! The defense gave us some turnovers but it’s still “Fire Joe Barry”. We control our own destiny, one win and we’re in the playoffs. If not, what will it take for us to rejuvenate the defensive culture within the organization?

Another career day given up for a mediocre QB by this defense. Luckily our offense showed up against a very underrated, top 10 defense. Jaire was Jaireing. Joe Barry never stops Barrying it. Could have been a merry Christmas but unfortunately MLF can’t fire his buddy. Maybe it’ll be a happy New Year instead.

Yes, the dust has already settled but we’re here to kick it up again. Spoiler alert: Ryan and Cisco agree to disagree, which is a rarity…right?! Was there any way of getting this right? Does it even matter with the expansion to 12 teams set for next year? Should we be allowing a committee of business focused individuals to have the ability to dismiss the hard work these kids put in because of the financial repercussions? Clearly we’re not their biggest fans.

The offense showed regression without Christian Watson on the field. Jordan Love did not look how he has during the win streak as he missed a handful of throws and turned the ball over twice. The defense got zero pressure on wannabe Goodfella Tommy DeVito. Special teams was anything but. Just an overall bad game by the Packers. Missed opportunities have us doubting this team can make the playoffs but it’s not out of the question yet.

The Deli is back with a holiday special as the guys recap the Green Bay Packer’s stuffing of the Detroit Lions. 8.5 point underdogs, Jordan Love and the offense opened with a bang and the defense came out fighting for Joe Barry’s job. Revenge is sweeter than pumpkin pie! Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and, as always, Go Pack Go!

Our defense was shredded like a soft cheddar against a stainless steel grater as the Pittsburgh backfield racked up 200+ yards. Big money guys were not making big money plays. The offense gave us some shiny moments but we’re still left with some uncertainty. Is it time to move away from Christian Watson? When will Joe Barry get fired?
