The end of the NBA regular season has come and that means the Deli is open and ready to talk 1st Round playoff matchups! Of course we have the play-in games with some matchups not yet determined but we’re going to do our best to predict the outcome. We already know the Lakers are in and the Warriors are out. Is this the end of the Warrior dynasty? Will Zion ever be healthy when it counts? Will the defending champs hold up against LeBron’s closing window? In the East, is it finally the Celtics turn? The guys feel the Bucks will be one and done in the first round and not just because of Giannis’s availability. Will the Heat magic show up…spoiler alert…Jimmy Buckets most likely is out so their chances of making the 8th spot look slim (Sorry Kevin Ellis).

Cole dropped an album last Friday and it’s getting big attention! With Ryan being such a huge fan, we thought it would be a disservice to wait even longer to talk about. I mean, if we’re not podding would you even be discussing us? The album is dope but unfortunately catching flack due to Cole’s apology for the Kendrick Lamar diss track, 7 Minute Drill. Is this even a real beef? Does it take away from the quality of the album? Should fans be upset that he apologized?

On the men’s side, UCONN smothered the perimeter against Purdue, coasting to a 75 - 60 victory to secure the first back to back titles since 2007. On the women’s side, the Great White Hype wasn’t enough to overcome South Carolina’s top ranked defense as the Gamecocks capped off an undefeated season with a 87 - 75 win, bringing home their 3rd title since 2017. NFL tampering period couldn’t wait for the Deli to open its doors…which isn’t typical when you’re a Packer’s fan! With the Green Bay Packers making a few splashes, we just had to talk about the day. Gutey brought us an anchor at safety with the signing of former NY Giants safety Xavier McKinney. On the other side of the ball he added a prime running back in for Raider Josh Jacobs. But with addition comes subtraction as we say goodbye to a few Packer players, most notably David Bakhtiari and Aaron Jones. Recently she surpassed Kelsey Plum for the NCAA Women’s scoring title but she has now become the NCAA’s scoring champ after breaking “Pistol” Pete Maravich’s 1970 record.
