The game was uglier than the weather, which is saying a lot! Love throws a Pick 6, missed field goal, 10 penalties, 6 dropped passes and three (or four) bad snaps. Packers outgained the Lions 411 yards to 261 yards. Goff chants in Lambeau! Like we said, ugly! We’re a little late to the party but hope all of you Packer fans enjoyed this Victory Monday! Somewhat refreshed from his trip to the game in Jacksonville, Ry is super hyped to share his experience with the Deli! From meeting the Monk family to pictures with Josh Jacobs, he spares no detail! Oh yeah, there was also a game too! X marks the spot as McKinney strikes again with another interception. E Coop forced a fumble that was recovered by Wyatt. Jordan Love goes down but Magic Malik Willis comes in and sets up the GOAT, Brandon McManus for a game winning field goal! Do we need to be concerned with injuries heading into next week’s matchup against Detroit?

Spoiler alert, with this morning’s news of the Chiefs acquiring DeAndre Hopkins, we can confirm one of our predictions was accurate! Speaking of, we now have only one undefeated team in the NFL, the Kansas City Chiefs. Are they the best 6-0 team we’ve seen? Minnesota was out dueled by the Detroit Lions so do they need to be Buyers to stay in contention? We saw a feel-good story out in Cleveland with the return of Nick Chubb but bad news followed as Deshaun Watson went down with a season ending Achilles injury. Davante Adams’s debut was spoiled by Russell Wilson cooking the Jets defense. With under a minute left, down 10 points, we saw Chris Godwin suffer a season ending ankle injury. The trade rumors are swirling and with the major injuries around the league, there are now possibilities we may not have anticipated!

We’re looking for a Mr. Monday….a Victor E Monday….well look no further than, you found him! That’s right, the Deli is back with another Victory Monday after the Heart Attack Pack pull it off against the Houston Texans with a game winning field goal. Yeah you read that right. Newcomer Brandon McManus hit a 45 yarder as time expired to put the Packers at 5-2. The game was ugly. The Pack had three turnovers including a pair of Jordan Love interceptions. Mental miscues. Joe Mixon was running wild. But….Doubs was solid again. The defense made adjustments in the second half using pressure to hold CJ Stroud to 86 yards passing. We finally heard Rashan Gary’s name called. At the end of the day, a win is a win!

What it do everyone! The Deli is open again and ready to recap Week 6 of the NFL season. Before all of that went down, we saw some key matchups play out starting with the 49ers taking down their division rival Seattle Seahawks. The Present out dueled the Future when Lamar Jackson and the Ravens took down Jayden Daniels and the Commanders. The Lions dismantled them Boyz but lost their prime time defender Aiden Hutchinson. Rodgers and company couldn’t overcome Allen and the Bills but they shouldn’t have that problem anymore, right?!

The Deli is once again hosting a Victory Monday fresh off the Packer’s Week 6 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Cisco’s audio isn’t the greatest so apologies for that but it’s the best he could do coming live from Copper Harbor, Michigan (ask Detroit Kev, he’ll tell you where it is). But everything is always better with a Packer victory so it’s all good! Doubts on Doubs after his one game suspension? Naw. Two TDs. Wary about Watson’s injury? Naw. Nice TD for him too. Kick the Narvdawg to the curb? Maybe!! The defense also did its job, holding the Cardinals to 13 points, under 100 yards rushing, and forcing three turnovers. McKinney’s streak came to an end but he’ll be the first to say the win is more important. As always, Go Pack Go!

Guess who’s back…back again…come on in as we’re fully staffed and ready to serve it up here at the Deli! Another week is in the books for the NFL season. We saw some guest appearances for sure along with a big departure. Kirko Chainz made an appearance with a 500 piece on Thursday Night Football. Smoking Joe Burrow was out there lighting it up but King Henry and Lamar snuck it out. Not sure they’re R E L A Xing in New York as the Jets fell short in London. Where and when will Davante get traded? There was a reunion of sorts in Kansas City with Hunt and JuJu stepping up for the Chiefs. Oh and in case you missed it, Jets coach Robert Saleh got relieved of his head coaching duties.

VICTORYYYYYY MONDAY! We’re back! Speaking of being back…Ryan has returned to the counter and the guys are ready to recap the Green Bay Packer’s Week 5 victory over the L.A. Rams. It wasn’t pretty but we’ll take the W however it comes. This game was definitely a tale of two halves, much like last season. The first half was straight doo doo! We couldn’t get things going on offense. With both Watson and Doubs out, Love and the receivers didn’t appear to be on the same page. Run game was nonexistent against one of the worst rush defenses in the league. Defense was porous and Matt Stafford had all day to pick us apart. Despite that, the second half told a different story. Mr Mac N Cheese, Tucker Kraft, and the run game really gave the offense the spark it needed. Xavier McKinney….I mean that’s all you need to know about the defense. Is he the best defensive free agent signing in Packer’s history? What will come of the Romeo Doubs situation? Tune in to find out!
