Dr. Sarah Anzola, the founder and lead practitioner of templ™, received her Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology at the University of Texas (Austin) in 2012. While studying the relationship between humans and their environments at UT, she discovered her interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
She attended the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston where she received her Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, followed by her Doctorate Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 2019. She completed her internship and advanced studies in Tianjin, China at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. While attending school, she completed training as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and worked for 4 years as a Certified Infant Care Specialist and Birth and Postpartum Doula. After obtaining her Doctorate Degree, Dr. Anzola joined the Houston Methodist Hospital's team as one of the first lead TCM practitioners within their Wellness Center. Dr. Anzola is licensed to practice by the Texas Medical Board, holds credentials as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, and is Nationally Board-Certified in Acupuncture, Biomedicine, Oriental Medicine, and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She specializes in treating Women's Wellness, Fertility & Pregnancy, Cosmetic Acupuncture, Anxiety & Mental Health, Pain Management, Sleep, Digestion, & Immune Support.
