Bud Abbott and Lou Costello open in the radio studio with comedy about Lou’s movie-theater encounter, joined by orchestra leader Matty Malneck for a dice routine. The program then moves into the Sam Shovel detective parody, where a butcher shop becomes the setting for the mystery. George Fenneman announces, with Marilyn Williams featured as vocalist.

The Abbott And Costello Show presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
