This is part 1 of my conversation with Pressley M. Hambrick IV. He is the Principal of Dimensional Capital Partners. He was introduced to real estate investing at the age of 6. His grandparents owned 2 apartment buildings, and his father owned 20+ rental properties. While watching his family manage and grow their business, Pressley and his father began to rehab the rentals at the age of 8. Ever since then, Pressley has been involved in real estate investing, from brokering mortgage notes, to flipping, to apartment syndication.
In this episode, Pressley M. Hambrick IV talks about his experiences with real estate, starting from when he was young and working with his dad. He reveals that they are into development and that he got into it because of the housing market crash in the early 2000s. He discusses how their reputation and name are important to them, and how they weather the market by doing ground up development instead of flipping. He discusses how Trevor McGregor, his coach, has helped him to realize that they needed to focus on what was important and not get bogged down in details.
