In episode 75, the geeks are leaving their space suits and trading them in for pirate garb as they board the Black Pearl to talk about the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise. The geeks share their thoughts on the Johnny Depp led franchise that has spanned fourteen years, culminating with their preview for the upcoming chapter in the Pirates franchise, Dead Man Tell No Tales. Also Jim and Chuck discuss whether they would or wouldn’t want to be a pirate, their pirate names, and the name of their hypothetical pirate vessel. Did the geeks do the franchise justice or should they walk the plank?

In episode 74, the geeks are sharing their opinions of the Alien movie franchise. Every Alien movies covered from the original in 1979 with Ripley and her cat, all the way to 2017 and the next installment Alien Covenant. Can this redeem the franchise from some it's missed opportunities? What do the geeks have to say about this franchise?

In episode 73 the geeks are breaking down the story that is, Injustice Gods Among Us. In an effort to encourage more comic reading and help pump the geeks up for the release of Injustice 2, the geeks tackle their longest story to date. In episode 72 the Active Geek a-holes are gearing up for the next chapter for the intergalactic Marvel Comics s a-holes better known as the Guardians of the Galaxy. Starlord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and baby Groot are back but they're being joined by two new team members Yondu and Nebula, as well as a bunch of new characters. In episode 71 the geeks are back, as Chuck returns from his podcasting sabbatical to discuss the wonderful women of DC Comics. Jim and Chuck share their thoughts on various women of DC comics and bring their opinions on the portrayals of these heroes and villains on television and film. Also the geeks share their experience of their latest comic con, and share exciting news from another great convention.

In episode 70 one of the geeks is missing as Jim previews the upcoming Starz television series based on Neil Gaiman's 2001 novel American Gods. Jim shares his thoughts on the book, the characters, and gives his expectations for the series.

In episode 69, the geeks are taking a closer look at the group known as the Teen Titans. Jim and Chuck share their feelings about the evolution of the Titans as well as their future. Also discussed in this episode is the upcoming DC animated film Teen Titans: Judas Contract. Find out who the geeks think is the better leader as well as their favorite member.

In episode 67 the geeks remember a time where Disney classics were animated. Well those days are gone and in the wake of the release of Beauty and the Beast, the geeks share their thoughts on the live action Disney movies. Jim also shares his true feelings about Tim Burton and Johnny Depp.

In episode 66 the geeks go on a quest to bring you the story of the Iron Fist. From the early 70's to present day the Iron Fist has had its fair share of obstacles to get through. Now the Iron Fist is getting the recognition he deserves as he takes his story to Netflix on 3/17/17.
