I’m sorry if the kid's podcast is boring or overdone but I feel there is a lot to say about growing up with ADHD that maybe can help kids today as well as parents. Then again maybe I should just keep quiet?
I forgot on Friday to continue with my kid's topic, so here we go. There is more to come. A great deal more.
I miss the days of meeting in real life. I miss the day of letters and phone calls. Meetings in the office and not on video. I miss the interaction of meeting in person. I know it will never come back to that, but hopefully, some of us will keep that spirit of real-life meetings in our world.
I though it was a great day to go back to the beginning.
I’m back and ready to go. Let’s do this thing!
Who are your true friends? Do you have a handful or less than a handful? What matters is not the number of friends, but what you define as a friend. That definition will make your circle of friends complete and defined. Don’t be too quick to say someone is a friend when they don’t fit in your circle.
Over the weekend I thought a little more about impulse spending and wanted to clue you in on a few thihngs before I locse this topic. Listen in to hear the ending.
Impulse spending is not something to ignore. Social Media doesn’t help us with our impulses it eggs them on. Years ago you had to go out to spend, not you can sit back, watch tv, have a glass of whatever you choose to drink, and spend to your heart's content. There are even influencers (better known as shills) to help you spend your money. What more could you ask for?
Do you feel that ADHD makes you take risks you normally wouldn’t take or see others without ADHD not taking? I have made some serious bad decisions/risks throughout my life and I can’t balmes them all on ADHD, but I do feel ADHD had something to do with my decisions.
I did some thinking about the book this morning, while in the shower, my favorite place to think, and wanted to share it with you. Also had some questions for you to ask yourself.
