What's up sports fans? Divisional Weekend complete, and things got crazy. Devon's Detroit Lions are headed to the NFC Championship, and he was there to see it happen. We let him revel in it a bit, before an actual breakdown of the Lions beating the Buccaneers (04:38). Two teams bringing house money, and Detroit cashed in. We also muse about Baker Mayfield's future in Tampa Bay, and talk about his trash talking. To give Devon one more shot at the Cowboys, we mention a fun fact (for anyone outside of Dallas) (09:00). We don't believe in moral victories, and neither does Stefon Diggs (10:50). Josh Allen might be great, and yet not great enough as he came up short against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs—again. It's not quite a Manning v. Brady rivalry, and the Bills probably need a Super Bowl win to make it happen. Oh, and the Bills ran a fake punt with Damar Hamlin (16:50), which neither of us liked. As a bonus point—the Chiefs drafted Patrick Mahomes with a pick they acquired in a trade...with the Bills. We give Mahomes and Travis Kelce some flowers for passing Tom Brady and Gronk for the most playoff touchdowns by any duo in NFL history. We talk about the woes of the Kansas City offense (23:50), and dive into the Ravens dismantling the Texans. From Lamar's humorous post-game presser to why Baltimore could win it all, we talk about the likely MVP going head-to-head with the best QB in the league. We also talk about CJ Stroud's leadership (27:40), and segue to the Packers coming up just short against the 49ers. Jordan Love had a terrible interception, and the Niners overcame Brock Purdy's worst rain game. We pine over playoff football, driven by hard-hitting defenses, and bring up Tom Brady un-retirement rumors (37:00). Alex projects a potential blowout in the AFC Championship, while Devon refuses to bet against Mahomes. For the NFC Championship, Devon's rolling with his Lions, so Alex split the predictions.
