The After Improv crew hits the road for the first time, leaving the warm confines of Tony's home studio to visit Heather Anonymous and her villainous cat (so Heather says) at her secret lair. The crew's member at-large, Jessica Femminineo, is back for the festivities, and reads each member of the group's monologues from their Planet Ant writing class. And more: Meet Pearl the cat!; Three little words Heather’s father can’t say; Tony wonders if Jim is being an asshole; Heather is right about Steve Motherfucking Forbes; The group shames John into complimenting Jessica’s guacamole; Jessica reads the group’s monologues; Baby Jessica shows up; Heather and the dead squirrel; Jim is being a fucking asshole; Heather's monologue; Tony’s monologue; John’s monologue; Jim’s monologue; The group trolls Jessica about “Rocky.”

Yes, we know it’s grammatically incorrect; calm down. A fond welcome this week to Jessica, a former classmate who would have been the fifth member of the AI crew but instead cruelly left us to work the ski slopes of Colorado. We catch up with her, then this other stuff happens: "After Improv: The New Class"; 420 friendly, Jessica is Alaska bound; Get to know Jessica; Jim, Heather, John and Tony read their short stories from class and Jessica critiques; Class goals; Heather’s Movie Review

Apologies for the audio on this episode; we had a technical difficulty named Drunk Heather.

This week marks landmarks of many kinds for the gang, but the biggest one is we have our first guest! Dave, beloved classmate, drops a surprise on us and asks to be on the podcast. What we discuss: "You're a star, kid," Tony's dad calls in, Why Dave's quitting, The Whore Incident, Classic Frank story, Class Show, Heather's first movie review

Everything was somber this week: the weather, class, our scenes — and nobody could explain why. Other stuff: Fuller House, No-show Heather, Fucking Longform Blues, The gang takes part in a study, Weed, bro; Improv set breakdown

Today we take a slice of interpretation, a slice of happenstance and sandwich it between a gooey layer of Heather being wrong. It's the Grilled Cheese Sandwich episode! Among other things: Tony tries to figure out if Jim wants the group at his class show. Joke workshop. The Grilled Cheese Incident. Girls don’t always have to be the girl. More Grilled Cheese debate. And less!
