Carrie Doyle is at the heart of one of the fastest-growing annual cultural events on the East End. Hamptons Whodunit, now in its 4th year, is Long Island’s premiere mystery and true crime festival, where fact and fiction collide. This is where you mingle with bestselling authors, legal experts and forensic investigators as they unravel the secrets behind gripping crime stories. Doyle joined WLIW-FM to share details of the festival and what fans can expect if they attend, plus a sneak peak into who will be joining Brian Cosgrove live on the air from the site of the event, April 17 from 2 to 3pm.

Ed Burns is a life-long Long Islander. Born and raised in Valley Stream - "up-island" - he spent summers driving out to Montauk with his dad and then raised his own children the same way, packing the car on the last day of school and trekking out to Springs. He now lives just down the road from the very lawns he mowed as a landscaper in college. He joined Brian Cosgrove during our Spring Fund Drive to talk about his love of public media and encourages listeners to make a donation. He shared a personal story of getting his accolades and support as a student filmmaker from the public TV station in New York City, and more in this special interview.
