ā Questions of the Week:Ā
"Why is it that among less affiliated Jews there are some Mitzvos that they are very makpid on e.g - fasting on Yom Kippur, Pesach and Bris Milah. These are all quite difficult mitzvos and I wonder why these are generally well observed. If I wasn't affiliated these aren't necessarily the ones I would choose? (Submitted by Geoff Dennis)
"Is there such a thing as "don't let people take advantage of you" in Judaism?" (Submitted by anonymous)
"I've noticed that many people (especially men) from a Yeshivish background have a sloppy, unkempt appearance. Spills, unclean clothes, lack of hygiene. Why is this? What happened to kavod Hatorah? Why don't they care about looking right?" (Submitted by anonymous)
"If men don't like it when their wives repeat the same request why don't they at least make any movement or noise to acknowledge that they heard and understand the first time?" (Submitted by Confused Wife)
