  • How to Handle a Bad Review | Podcast for Realtors

Receiving a bad review can be tough. As realtors, we work hard to provide the best service to all our clients. So when a bad review comes in, it can leave us confused and hurt.

Here are some steps you can take to handle a bad review:
Don't take it personally & assess the review:
Avoid panicking. Before you jump to conclusions, take a deeper look at the review. Is it real? Is there any truth behind it? Sometimes, it's even done by mistake! Try not to take the review personally and instead focus on how you can address the issues raised.
    Respond promptly and professionally:
It's important to respond to the review in a timely and professional manner. Acknowledge the reviewer's concerns and try to mend any negative experience they may have had. Offer to discuss the issue further and provide a way for them to contact you directly.
    Use the feedback to improve:
Take the review as an opportunity to improve your services. Look for common themes in negative reviews and see if there are any changes you can make to prevent similar issues in the future.
    Encourage positive reviews:
Encourage your satisfied clients to leave positive reviews. This can help to offset any negative reviews and show potential clients that you are committed to providing excellent service. However, avoid fabricating fake reviews as well. Though it may feel that you're helping, often times fake reviews are easy to spot and may undermine the value of the real ones.
    Monitor your online reputation:
Keep an eye on your online reputation and respond to any negative reviews promptly. This can help to prevent any further damage to your reputation.
REMEMBER! Handling a bad review professionally can demonstrate your commitment to customer service and improve your reputation in the long run.

  • Advice I Would Give To A Young Realtor | Podcast for Realtors

How to become a successful real estate agent at a young age? There are many things to keep in mind when first starting out in this business. After 20+ years of doing real estate, here are some things we would do differently if we could turn back time.  1. Save Money:  Real estate is a commission-based industry, which means your income can be unpredictable. It's important to create a budget and save money for lean times. Consider setting aside a percentage of each commission check to build your savings.  2. Be More Organized:  As a realtor, you need to be organized to manage multiple clients and listings effectively. Use a CRM system to keep track of your leads, appointments, and deadlines. Create a schedule and stick to it.   3. Align Yourself with the Right People:  Networking is crucial in real estate, but it's equally important to align yourself with the right people. Surround yourself with other successful realtors, mentors, and industry professionals who can offer guidance, support, and advice. Join local real estate associations or groups to expand your network.  4. Stay Consistent:  Consistency is key in real estate. Create a marketing plan and stick to it. Be consistent in your branding, messaging, and communication with clients. Follow up with leads regularly and stay top-of-mind with past clients through socials, newsletters, or holiday cards.  5. Listen to Your Gut:  Real estate involves making tough decisions, so it's important to trust your instincts. If a deal doesn't feel right, don't be afraid to walk away. If it feels right but you're hesitant, asses the situation and make the leap. Listen to your clients' needs and concerns, and be open to their feedback.  6. Believe in Yourself:  Success in real estate requires confidence and belief in yourself. Don't be afraid to take risks and try new things. Celebrate your successes, no matter how small. Stay positive and focus on your goals, and don't let setbacks discourage you.  Loving this podcast for realtors?
