The Clan does have openings, and make sure you mention in the #destiny2 channel of discord that you've applied and make sure you're not currently in a clan when submitting an application. Apps can be approved but you will need to drop your current clan to accept the invite.

We have about 40 approved applications on the Virtus (alliance side) that just need to go back in and accept. I sent emails in game to let them know as well. I triple dog dare them to accept it!

The first Division 2 Season (Shadow Tide) marches on. The current ongoing activity is the Home League that continues for another 8 days. Three of the four manhunts required to unlock the intel for the Season's main boss event have been concluded.

Title Update 9 went live last week, and to celebrate: anyone who logs in before May 5 will receive a backpack trophy "Soda" and 3 Apparel Cache keys. This update features the exotic items reconfiguration that will allow you to "level up" your old exotics to current gear levels, and many bug fixes. There is also a free trial for the Division 2, playable for 8 hours up to level 8. Any progress made during the trial will be carried forward if the full game is purchased. Reach out to anyone in the AIE clan for friend referrals as well.

Wasterlanders launched this week, and is a dramatic improvement on the game. We have actual Human NPCs finally, storylines, dialog choices, and just a general feeling of ‘Hey, this is a Fallout game’.

Seasons are still going strong with the second manhunt target available now. Clan activity has trickled down a bit since launch. I recommend that you reach out to fellow Agents in Discord to look for groups and plan missions.

Season 20 began on March 13: The Season of the Forbidden Archives. The buff this season allows you to equip any three items in the Kanai's cube rather than restricting you to one from each category. The roster includes: Dr. Swtor, Ted, Beaux, Slayer, Katerina, Kione, and Ven! They talk about how everyone got started with running operations, and why they all love it so much!

Division 2

The game's first season is now well underway with the first manhunt target, "Neptune,"completed by most players. New "league" and "global event" play is now live.

Leagues consist of certain timed challenges that confer ranks for better completion times in missions. These ranks translate into rewards bestowed by claimed crates in the league menu. Collect seasonal items and even an exotic.

This global event that went live last week, "Polarity Switch," consists of switching between active colors displayed on your character to defeat correspondingly colored mobs in the game. Reward caches are conferred after completing challenges such as "eliminating positive polarity Outcasts," or other factions, etc.

The next manhunt target, "Venus," goes live on the 31st, along with the next apparel event, "Urban Jungle."

Some excitement surrounding the game has died down as it's been struggling with many bugs and game balance issues -- some directly related to the new season's events. Despite that AIE participation is still reasonably high, averaging 18-20 people online per day.

Division 2

Division 2 launched their first expansion to the game: Warlords of New York which picks up with the storyline from the Division 1 as Agents return to New York.

The level cap has raised to 40 and new content is live with the introduction of seasons to the game's road map. New seasons will occur every three months and contain rewards and special manhunts for rogue agents that continue the Division story.

The AIE clan is nearly at a full 50 members with many returning players returning to regular nightly play. We're currently seeing about an average of 20 people online per day since the launch. There is still some room in the Clan, make sure to reach out to us in the AIE public discord if you would like a clan invite or have submitted an in-game app that needs approval.

- HFO is still recruiting. We're up to roughly 15 members and we're 5/12 in normal.

- Reminder that we're on Alliance side and we want to boost numbers. New alts, transfers, and cross-realm friends are all welcome!

- Gusty's Trial of Style event is next week!

- Horde Raid teams are kicking butt and taking names!

The Division 2 Clan has seen some activity once more, anticipating the release of the "Warlords of New York" expansion dropping tomorrow morning, March 2nd . After maintenance this morning, the DLC will be live at 6AM Eastern. The game is seeing a serious overhaul of some of its systems and the story is returning agents back to NYC to hunt an old nemesis from the first Division game.

Nick and Marcus look ahead to the games their most looking forward to coming out in 2020, and of course recap what they've been up to in their gaming lives.

Patch 8.3 is out and the guild activity level seems to be up as people are doing daily quests, looking for groups for Horrific visions, and camping rare mount spawns.

The new raid opened on Tuesday and a number of raid teams are progressing through it while Blizzard hurriedly fixes in bugs with hotfixes and extended maintenance windows.

If you’re looking for a raid team, make sure you check the #raid-recruitment channel in AIE Discord and if you’re looking for a group to run Horrific visions or the Heroic version of Mechagon, make sure you check the #lfg channel for people looking for groups.

UMAMI applications are no longer a requirement for WoW Retail. We are opening up guild recruitment to the server with the in-game recruitment system. New and current members of AIE can continue to use Discord, aielfo in-game community, as well as the new Blizzard guild recruitment system to request guild invites. We want to thank Stigg for everything he has done with our UMAMI system and Greenwall, and we can’t wait to see what else he has in store for AIE.

Our operations teams are thriving. Some are working through the new operation, some are working through the whole progression of all the operations, and some are doing whichever operation they feel like doing that week!

We've done 3 MFNs so far this year and have been extremely happy to have had some players come with us that had never seen those operations. It's always fun when that happens.

We are looking forward to a new Stronghold--this time on the beautiful planet of Alderaan. I know what you're thinking, but it's still thousands of years before THAT happens. The stronghold is currently on the PTS, so watch for times when the PTS is available if you want to hop in and stroll around in it.

The next patch is 6.1 and should be coming some time in February. It will include some class changes, the Alderaan stronghold and a "story beat".

Patch 8.3 Survival Guide

The third major Battle for Azeroth content patch, Visions of N'Zoth, will be releasing on January 14th (US) / 15th (EU).

This new content patch will include N'Zoth Assaults in two zones: Uldum and Vale of Eternal Blossoms. N'Zoth has taken over and Corrupted these areas. Taking part in these Assaults will earn you reputation with the Uldum Accord and Rajani and earn you a new currency: Coalescing Visions.

Wrathion returns in this Patch, starting off with a long Introduction Questline that will act as a tutorial for the major systems of this patch. This includes his own legendary cloak Ashjra'kamas, Shroud of Resolve and a plan to enter and take down the Horrific Visions of N'zoth. Titanforging is being removed for all Patch 8.3 content and replaced by Corrupted Gear which will provide you with powerful effects, but at a cost. Participating in Horrific Visions will allow you to upgrade Wrathion's Legendary Cloak, helping you to combat some of the negative effects of the Corrupted gear. In addition, new Essences are being added for all roles, as well as new recipes for Professions.

Two new Allied Races are being added to the game: Vulpera for the Horde and Mechagnomes for the Alliance.

Highlights from WCN

2019 was a great year for Working Class Nerds.

-We had an AIE show discussing all the games that we play

- We had the Bioware team on 2 times with Musco and Matt Pucevich on. We broke the news on the first boss in the new operation.

- We had Holly Fields on the show who was Nadia Grell in game. It was so amazing to hear all about voice acting. Also we topped it off getting her to tell us “Shut up Max!”

Guild Highlights

Summer of Love 2019

In WoW we had a World Quest Party, a Kirin Tor Tavern Crawl, held our annual Remembrance day the Shrine of the Fallen Hero, COOP’ed the Alliance, and had a lot of fun at Dark Moon Faire!

In SWTOR they held a MEGA Event, a MFN event, and held their Remembrance day in Juran Mountains on Alderaan.

In FFXIV they had a special MFN and met at the Free Company house for Remembrance day.

In STO they held an event on Risa (not Rishi) and met at the Memorial at Wolf 359 for Remembrance Day.

In Eve they got together in Discord to join in Remembrance Day.

In GW2 they had a special MFN, ran dungeons with Maellung, and met at Lion’s Arch on the Field of the Fallen for Remembrance Day.

In LOTRO they met on the Hill behind the Prancing Pony in Bree for Remembrance Day and held a special MFN Edition.

WoW Classic

Nevermore has given us one heck of an update on WoW Classic!

WoW Classic launched just a few months ago on August 26th, 2019 and our Horde AIE Guild on the Pagle server has been thriving! :tada: We are constantly hovering close to the max guild limit of 1000 members. So occasionally we purge characters who have been offline the longest. If this happens to you, just jump back into AIELFO to request an invite again!

We got the guild set up - as soon as server issues allowed! - And were able to nickel and dime... Oh, we mean “silver & copper” our way to 10g to purchase our guild ta...
