Our operations teams are dipping their toes into the new operation - The Nature of Progress. Maybe now would be a good time to remind everyone that guildie Sakic is conducting a game-wide kill bounty contest for the last boss. The prize is a billion credits. Dates and other specifics have not been announced yet, but they will be on SWTOR Escape Pod Cast soon.

Speaking of operations, we have a new team that meets on Sunday nights on the Imperial side. Their team name is TACO (Total Annihilation Clearing Ops). They are off to a good start, but are still in need of one DPS. If you would like to run with TACO on Sunday nights, contact Albus via discord.

This past Tuesday, the guild celebrated the launch of the first episode of The Mandalorian by having a bounty hunter-themed MFN. We dressed up in our best mando armor and had a beach party (of course). Afterwards, we roamed the galaxy wreaking havoc on world bosses. Discussions of the show can be had in the newly reopened Star Wars Spoilers discord channel. We also had a little birthday party for guildie Thaan, sponsored by his two sons. It was a great MFN overall.

FFXIV

Every night is a super awesome crafting night, with the new Ishgard restoration project!

Lots of AIE folks helping each other out with the new crafting systems, and the XP bonuses are HUUGE!

Abo and crew are looking for more people to run on Tuesday and Thursday raiding, no experience required.

We'd love you to be in the FC, but if you are committed elsewhere but are on the Crystal Datacenter, you are welcome to come along.

There is a Fellowship and Cross-world linkshell, as well as the #ffxiv channel in Discord.

Fridays are all request nights, but we need you to make those requests. Making the requests earlier in the week helps us all out in scheduling the events. Things such as optional dungeon unlocks, Alexander or Omega runs, Treasure Maps, Gold Saucer parties are all great ideas. We know you have other ideas that we have never thought of, so let us know so we can all get together for Friday Fun Nights.

Oh, and join us for Copied Factory runs if you are looking for that 2B glamour. We can help you through the encounters, and you will have less competition to get that cosmetic.

Plus the raid is still totally awesome.

The Undaunted Event in game was scheduled to start this week, but due to technical difficulties it has been disabled. There is currently no eta on when or if it will happen this year.

GAME NEWS

Return of The Breach! This TFO (task force operation) event is back. You have until December 3 at 10AM PT. This event is working towards unlocking another free T6 ship on top of the standard event rewards, which is a Universal console.

They have added another Fed and KDF ship, the Strike Wing Escorts. And something that is a strike wing has to have a shuttle bay to hold you wingmen.

And as always, they are always adding more content, like about a week ago, they added three more patrol systems. Kinbar, Nassordin, and Zahl are the newest patrols added.

Fleet Holdings: The fleet is doing great, but as always can use more duty officers and a few other resources.

The colony is working toward completing Tier II in all branches, including the core.

Embassy is working on the Diplomacy Tier II project.

K-13 has been moving along nicely and is almost at Tier II across the board.

Lifetime subscription sale is still going. You have until November 21st to get $100 off. This brings it down to $199.99. And if you are going to spend a decent amount of time in STO, I highly recommend it as you will get your money back just on the 500 zen a month stipend. This is not counting the veteran ships, playable Talaxian, and so much more.

Black Friday is coming and there are always sales from zen bonuses, to zen store discounts.

Play Outer Worlds, the best Fallout of recent years.

Diablo IV was announced at Blizzcon and is a much darker version of Diablo, more like Diablo II in tone and graphically play. It will also be an open world, so much so, that you will need mounts to travel through the world. There is a hub city where you can meet other players, show off your armor/weapons as well as a PvP area.

Noob Raid will be running the Anniversary Event (LFR) that launches on Tuesday. Reminder that Noob Raid runs on Saturday at 11pm Eastern.

Blizzcon Wrap Up

New expansion, entitled Shadowlands, was announced and is up for pre-sale. There are 3 tiers, so read carefully what’s in each.

Level squish is coming, Level 120 becomes level 50, and you’ll level 50-60 in Shadowlands. Levels 1-10 will be in the race specific starting area OR you can choose to level in the new level 1-10 zone that people new to the game will also start in.

Once you level 10, you’ll go visit Chromie and be given the choice of which expansion you want to level through. You can choose Mists of Pandaria, and you will level 10-50 in Pandaria, with the option to move to another expansion, however you will start at the beginning of the story of that expansion.

Your first character through Shadowlands will have to do all the zones, but once you finish the story, any alts will start with all endgame content unlocked at level 50 and can start progressing through it immediately. They can also choose which zone they want to level in, unlike your first character which will be going through zones in a specific order.

On Sunday November 10th from 1pm Server/Eastern Time until done, Tynchal is organizing a Craft Faire Mats “Raid” beginning at Camp Tarajo in The Southern Barrens. We need lots of Light and Medium Leathers, so we’ll sweep both sides of The Gold Road. This works best to have “tanks” killing and looting with skinners following behind cleaning up. Depending on the “tanks” strength, a skinner/healer would be welcome. Please comment here with your abilities if you can attend. The Camp Tarajo plan is to work all the way toward Razorfen Crawl, whacking pig men as well as beasts. Then up the other side of The Gold Road, starting with the excavation site and all the way up to The Northern Barrens finding harpies, kolkars, more pig men and beasts, beasts, beasts. If there are enough raiders, the plan is to split up into areas. We should be able to gather cloth as well as LW mats and anyone who is a flower picker (lots of Briarthorn) or miner can pick and dig undisturbed. Come one, come all! Tynchal’s CF bank alts will all be in Rachet at the bank to accept LW mats. Hope to see you at Camp T!

SWTOR

Onslaught is now live and it has really been a game changer. The new gearing system is in full swing. Each piece of new gear you acquire is bind-to-legacy, so as your main gears up, your alts can equip the discards. In most situations, loot is determined according to your gear level, so alts don't have to start over at point zero. It's a pretty deep system that will grow in complexity and variation at end game gear level. But for simple vertical gearing it's very easy to understand and be successful at.

Leveling from 70 to 75 can be accomplished through the story and does not take long at all. By the end of the story, you will have full 268 gear. Equip every upgrade you get so that the gearing system gives you more upgrades!

The launch went pretty smoothly with only one server restart about an hour after launch. Not to say there haven't been bugs--Like the Imperial travel option that lands you in a Republic base! Or the bug where the group finder puts your 8 man team into a 16 man Operation. Fun times!

Crafting and crew skills also got a bit of an overhaul. Crafting is truly not for the faint of heart this time around even though it was tweaked somewhat after feedback on the public test server.

Players can now purchase the HK-55 chapter from the Cartel Market. It gives you access to a special chapter of gameplay and then account-wide access to HK-55 as a companion.

During MFN on launch day, the guild concentrated on leveling. That weekend Marcus put together an opsalong to help everyone with gearing. Throughout the week we've been running flashpoints to that same end.

MEGA this month will be on Friday November 15th at 9PM Eastern where we will do Onslaught stuff!

Ops teams are looking forward to trying out the new operation, "The Nature of Progress", when we get our gear levels up. But, in the meantime there is a lot to do!

Thursday 10pm est - Extreme, Savage, Ultimate night, aka Wipe Night for progression. SIGN UPS REQUESTED!!!

Friday MFN 10pm est. - All member request. MSQ, dungeon unlocks, legacy raids, old and new content, fashion help, maps, or other content.

Patch 5.1 has hit and a ton of new features were added for solo and group play.

1) New MSQ quests including the new dungeon, The Grand Cosmos.

2) the 1st 24-player raid, inspired from Nier Automata, The Copied Factory. This raid will be a future event at the MFN coming soon and this raid is AWESOME!!!

3) Hades Extreme is now available for higher end raiders. It’s difficult is in-between eden savage 2 and 3. Coming soon to a Thursday night raid night.

4) Put the crafting to use to help out other FC members or help with the FC submarine craft! 10 new zones for the FC sub to explore has been added. Check out the workshop in the FC house to see how you can help out.

5) New Beast Tribe Daily quests. Help faeries, get loot. XP scales from 70-80, so a great alt job leveling mechanic.

6) New performance updates! This is the custom music feature in the game to show off player created music. New instruments, a new music trainer to show you how to play some fan-favorite songs, and an ensemble mode to play music synced as a group. Time to get the band back together!

7) New Fellowship system! These are groups, up to 1000 members (far greater than linkshells, or even FC’s) that allow for cross server communication, polls, posts, discussions, and announcements. Drop by the #ffxiv channel to get an invite. Since this is not server or FC membership dependent, you can still join to hear about AIE events even if you are committed to another FC. You still need to be on the Crystal data center however.

Jem'hadar veteran rewards are now available to lifetime subscribers. This includes a Jem'hadar Vanguard Heavy Destroyer.

Lifetime subscription sale going on now until Nov 21st. $100 off, so it is currently $199.99.

Also, until November 14th you can create Gamma Recruits again. This gives you added rewards for meeting various goals. The rewards are account wide for most of the rewards.

Also, black friday is coming, so if you have had your heart set on a ship or something else in the C-store, every year there are sales around black Friday. Time to buy more ships than you know what to do with…

Settled for the most part in our temporary home, sounds like coalition will be moving again end of the year to our new temporarily permanent home (cuz its eve). Sounds like a new coalition maybe a reality (opsec maybe?)

ESO

The two recent prologue quests (we did them as part of MFN the week they launched) are part of the base game and lead up to the opening on Southern Elsweyr which will be the new location available with the Dragonhold DLC which comes out on October 21st for PC/Mac. The new area is about the size of Clockwork City and has the continuation of the Season of the Dragon' main quest, new delves, and of course new side quests. There will be new plant life and unique beasts that roam the area which had a near-apocalyptic past. Most of the dragons that were released stayed in the northern part of Elswyer, however some did venture to the southern area and there will be two new types of dragons to hunt (storm and frost types).

MFN is till every Friday night at 9pm est. We run dungeons, do zone clears of skyshards, kill world bosses, and take part in events.

The next event should be the Witches Festival which will probably have an exp buff as well as the berries and feather for the Indrik mounts.

STO

Another free T6 ship token project has started. And the Kobayashi Maru event has started and goes until November 7th.

EVE

Just getting settled into our new home. Move ops (evacuation) is setting down.

GW2

Shadow of the Mad King event is live through November 5. Shadow of the Mad Kings is the Halloween event. New skins and infusions this year, as well as the previous rewards. The candy corn gobbler and the home instance candy corn node are back for convenient (if semi-random) buffs!

LOTRO

Minas Morgal is still available for pre-sale. The new expansion is scheduled for an October 29th release date. If you have pre-purchased Minas Morgul the new race, Stout-Axe Dwarves is available to play right away. Harvestmath festival is currently running through November 5th.

It's the weekend before the dawn (or early afternoon--or possibly late evening) of the launch of Onslaught. People are tidying up their inventories, finishing up any quests they may have lurking in their logs, and spending all the currencies that are going away. The new expac, which comes this Tuesday the 22nd, will have a city in a hollowed out asteroid, a return to the ancient planet of Onderon, a new Operation, a new flashpoint, a new race, 5 more levels, new crafting, and new things to discover. New characters will emerge and new stories. If you are thinking of trying swtor, this week might be the week. Not too long ago, restrictions on free-to-play were greatly relaxed, too.

On Saturday of this week, AIE will be involved in an epic Operations crawl where loot will fall like rain. Seriously, there is a lot of loot to be had. The ops are synched to level 70, so you won't have to get to max level to join in. The new Operation, which is a longer term goal, will be set for level 75.

Tonight and tomorrow (Sunday and Monday) are the last two days of a galaxy-changing cartel market sale. You can get deals on character names, slots and appearance options, decorations for player housing, companions, pets, dyes, armors, and lastly, unlocks. If you have that toy (or emote, or light saber crystal,or or or)you love to use, but have not unlocked for all your characters, you still have time. The sale lasts until Monday night.

October 22 is fast approaching. That is when SWTOR's new expansion is due to arrive. Currently, the public test server is available and flash points have all been level-synched to reflect the new max level of 75. Bioware is looking for feedback on the difficulty of the flashpoints.

Also, the final PTS achievement is now available for players to earn. If you weren't able finish the previous achievement, don't worry. You can continue to work on it throughout this phase as well.

The New York Cantina was this weekend! AIEers including Max, Zen, BC, Marcus, Nick, and Dr. Swtor attended as well as many players from the SWTOR community including Intisar and Kogass. They spent the evening hanging out with the dev team and meeting other players. Zen even got a brunch group together Saturday morning at the Skylight Diner.

ESO

The Dragon Rise even started on October 3rd and runs until October 14th at 10am est. There are 3 rewards that will be unlocked based on player participation - A Green Dragon Imp pet, a Grim Harvester Costume, and the Dragon's Treasure Trove furnishing. So far the community has unlocked the Imp and the costume. Activities/events that help with earning the rewards - earn the Northern Elsweyr Pathfinder Achievement, go dragon hunting and kill dragons in Elsweyr, and complete the two new Dragonhold Prologue quests that unlock on October 8th.

The new Prologue quests are considered part of the base game, so they will be available for everyone when they go live and they lead to the events that will take place in the upcoming Dragonhold DLC that will be out in Q4.

In addition, during the current event, you can earn 2 event tickets per day. Any monster in Elsweyr has a chance to drop one and a boss monster is a guaranteed drop for 1.

Because of the Event, MFN for next Friday will focus on the new prologue quests and/or hunting dragons depending on how long the quests take.

EVE

War is over. We lost and are evaccing. But WoW Classic is pretty good. Moving is still going. Some of us actually logged into EVE to move.

Patch 5.1 is close, coming to us sometime late October. If the previous history is any indication, we will get a date a few days after we record this podcast. So, keep an eye on our discord in the #ffxiv channel for updates! (Likely to get a launch date on the 18th. More on that in a moment…)

New Main Scenario Quests

The first act of the YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse raid series, starting with “The Copied Factory”. This raid is a collaboration between the FFXIV designers and the NieR:Automata designers to create a spiritual sequel to the NieR:Automata series. This will be the 24-player raid series, similar to the Crystal Tower, Ivaliace, and Void Ark series in previous expansions.

New crafter and gather quests as we get questslines to help rebuild Ishgard, from the Heavensward expansion.

New Game+. A way to replay past experiences and quests from the game, while remaining your actual level. There are some great solo duty and story elements that just watching them on the “Unending Journey” will not suffice. With this new feature, you will be able to jump back into different places in the MSQ to relive those events, but still retain your current level and gear.

New Dungeon, “The Grand Cosmos”. Can be done via the duty finder or with your trusts.

A new Extreme Trial! We know what the fight is, as it normally the last trial in each expansion, but giving the name away is a spoiler. So, it’s that fight with that thing that ends the MSQ of Shadowbringers in the 5.0 content. 5.1 has the extreme version of that.

New Pixie Beast Tribe Quests! A new beast tribe will become available, the first for Shadowbringers. It is a daily quest reputation grind, but it does reward with some very unique and imaginative cosmetics, minions, and also a nice, easy source for a few end game tomestones.

Blue Mage Updates! Increased Level cap, new quests, new skills, new blue-mage specific encounters.

Time to get the band together! The Performance system, where you can play music on an instrument, can now be synced up as a group!

New Housing Plots! All 4 residential districts will have wards 19-21 opened up to purchase for a house. In addition, a 2nd apartment building will become available. The new plots will start off being only available to purchase by an FC, but if they do a move, that means the old plot will become available. So if you are in the market for a new house, this may be the time to buy the house of your dreams. Right now, AIE is happy with our current housing arrangement, and we do not plan on moving.

Some UI refinements, such as glamour chest updates, duty finder ui updates (just adding your current ilevel to the duty finder window to save you a few clicks), emote sorting, sound effects when you are emote’d, and other “surprise features” that sorta just show up in the patched game.

Finally, the 5.1 Live Letter Part LV. (Brings up my roman abacus…) That’s the 55th Live Letter, will be taking place on Oct 18th at 4am PST. Remember, Square Enix is a Japaneese company. Usually, we get further details for the next patch on this 2nd Live Letter, a story and hype trailer, some unannounced game feature, and the date of the patch at the end. Please look forward to it.

Current FC news and End Game

The FC is still rocking, and we are still on Goblin in the Crystal Data Center. You are welcome to come along, play with us with a free demo account, which lets you play up to level 35 on all of the classes/jobs. To join the FC, do you need a retail account, via a retail key, steam, or on the Playstation Network for the PS4 folks out there, as this game does provide true cross play.

Gustytail is planning some guild events for Brewfest this week for the sausage eating contest. I know Friday at 8pm Eastern is Horde side. I'm not sure what day/time she decided on for Horde. The contest grants a 2 hour 10% Exp buff and if you win 5 times, you can buy a toy. The idea is to cheese win it like we do for trial of style. You need 4 people to sit down to start it.

It gives you a 3 min CD to do it again, so ideally we want 2-3 groups of four rotating in.

Noob Raid is doing well and is 6/8 on Palace and runs on Saturday nights at 11pm server (Eastern Time)

Patch 8.2.5 is launching on the 24th of September with the usual scheduled downtime from 7 am PDT to 3 pm PDT.

It's been a quiet two weeks in SWTOR. The dev team has been working on getting Onslaught ready for its closeup on the 22nd of October. The Public Test Server will most likely be available this week for everyone to try out the new gear acquisition changes.

SWTOR

We have a release date for Onslaught and it is October 22. PTS is up and rocking. The community has really embraced it and is making a great contribution to testing and feedback. In Onslaught, players will be able to roll a Nautolan if they are subscribed for any amount of time between now and the release of Onslaught. If you are wondering what a Nautolan is, check out Jedi Master Kit Fisto from Clone Wars.

In the live game, September is the month of many pirates! The Pirate Incursion event will be running twice this month on Dantooine.

Guild MFNs are on Tuesdays at 9PM eastern and we alternate between Imperial and Republic sides, so everyone can come and play. September's MEGA on the 27th is going to resurrect an OG mission to acquire the fabled Magenta Lightsaber Crystal. This is a shortish mission with some travel in between and we will be hanging out in discord and doing some Star Wars trivia as well. And who knows what else!

Also, New York Cantina is coming up fast on Oct 4th. A number of AIE people will be there, so if you fancy a night of drinks, AIEers, and possibly a little bit of game talk, you're invited! For more info and how to connect up, jump into discord and ask.

FFXIV

The FFXIV raid team took down Titania Extreme, the first piece of "raid-level" end game content in the expansion Shadowbringers. This is an 8 player raid, which can be done after the MSQ for Shadowbringers has been completed.

Currently, AIE is running gear up nights Tuesdays at 9:30pm Eastern and progression nights at 9:30pm eastern.

No experience is necessary! If you wish to join us with more challenging content, drop us a line in the AIE Discord in the #ffxiv channel.

I’d like to add that we are interested in running level 80 map nights. To run maps nights, the first step is to... get maps. To get them organically, you need to be a level 80 gatherer, that’s miner, botanist, or fisher. They are an extra item on your gathers, and you can only get one map a day. Furthermore, you can have one map activated, one in your main bags, one map in your chocobo saddle bags, and one in each retainer.

Running maps can get you super rewards and fabulous prizes, especially when you spawn the “bonus zone”.

So, we’d love to help get maps up for map nights. It’s a super fun activity, pretty casual time, and a great time to be had by all.

ESO

The Imperial City Celebration event is happening now and the DLC for the Imperial City is now free in the Crown store for anyone who doesn't own it or have ESO Plus. This is a PvP focused area with some PvE content and two PvE dungeons - White Gold Tower (ugh) and Imperial City Prison. During the event drops of Tel Var Stones, Key Fragments, and materials will be doubled and the chance of getting a Stonefire Scamp pet or the Soul-Shriven skin will be double as well. Also, as usual, double drops from all bosses within the Imperial City and the dungeons.

You can earn 2 event tickets per day (per account), by defeating the final boss in one of the dungeons, or slaying a patrolling monster or mini-boss on the streets of Imperial City or within the sewers.

And MFN is still going strong on Friday Nights at 9pm est.

LOTRO

Star Trek Online Game News

- Story Update coming September 10th, Awakening.

- This looks to be a continuation of Age of Discovery, but more in the current timeline(2410). Anthony Rap will reprise his role of Lt. Commander Stamets for this part of the story.

- New Task Force Operation(TFO)(A type of Dungeon or Flashpoint). Mycelial Realm. It's a ground based TFO, bringing you into the Mycelial Network against a Klingon faction that is not aligned with the Empire.

- Five New Patrols(single player content)

- A New One Time Event that goes with the launch of Awakening. By running the new content daily(max 60 Progress Points a daily) you earn Progress towards getting a T6 Elachi Frigate.

- A little Quality of Life stuff. Starfleet and Klingon races that were not of Romulan origin can now captain Romulan Warbirds

Fleet projects, as normal, could use some duty officers.

No Man’ Sky has been updated this month with to No Man’s Sky Beyond. Hello Games, the developer, has referred to it as No Man’s Sky 2.0. Most of the game systems have been updated or revamped to improve the player experience. Some of the bigger additions to the game are:

The two new dungeons for Scalebreaker are out and running them will give you the tablet you need to open wing 2 of the Hall of the Lunar Champion. (This is the new house that you can get while playing through the current story update.) If you need a group to run them, join us for MFN on Friday nights and we can help you out. Several of us have been through them a few times already and know the fights. Speaking of MFN, it's Friday night at 9pm est. We run dungeons, clear zones for sky shards, and on occasion fall off cliffs.

GAME NEWS

Bioware is going add achievements to the next release of the public test server for Onslaught. These achievements will likely require us to run 5 group content activities, which can be pve or pvp and will result in titles that we can use in the live game. The PTS is a limited time activity so keep an eye out for news about when it's up.

The double xp event is over now, but it helped a lot of folks reach their goals in Summer of 300, while some are waiting until the night before to finish up....

The New York Cantina has been announced for October 4th from 7-10 Eastern to coincide with New York Comic Con. There will be some AIE folks there, so if you are looking for an East Coast meetup, this could be the one! For more info about connecting up with AIE people there, come and ask in the AIE discord - swtor channel.

August MEGA was this past weekend and it was a great night of cat-herding, grappling, extricating, datacron-getting and some pretty epic chat. Fun times!

A popular fix went in with 5.10.4 which allowed ranged companions to once again decide to run in and join the fight, even if they initially happen to be out of range. A great "Yay!" was heard echoing through the force.

The PTS is live-ish now. Jump in and try the proposed changes to inquisitors and warriors for Onslaught which is coming in October.

Our Summer of 300 event just got a huge shot in the arm with the start of a month-long double xp event!

AIE Summer of Love was officially kicked off in SWTOR with a special MEGA event. Not only that, but it was MEGA's one year anniversary! Marcus entertained the crowd with trivia and prizes contributed by ElionD, Maellung, and Zen as we took on the Ancient Threat on Yavin IV. Many awesome screen shots were taken of us on the beach of Rishi. Check back later for screenshots of us by that vanquished boss....

This week, MFN will be a special SoL version that should be accessible to characters of all levels. Just to be safe, make sure you do have a ship, though

After Rem. Day ESO MFN - Special Edition

The Season of the Dragon will continue with Scalebreaker DLC and the Update 23 patch. August 12 for PC and Mac and on August 27 for PS4 and Xbox One (announced at Quakecon). It will have 2 new dungeons as well as quality of life improvements for the base game. it features a prologue quest with the return of Sai Sahan, even if the manner of such return is still unknown. And dragons will be moving out of Elswyr in the future.

Checking out the new dungeons as a group will be scheduled for the first MFN after Scalebreaker launches. Our MFN adventures tend to vary between zone clears for Skyshards, random dungeon queuing, and daily quests for specific in game events depending on what the group wants to do.

In SWTOR, the Nar Shaddaa Night Life event continues. If you like gambling with almost no chance of getting what you are after, this event is for you! It's an RNG-palooza that goes well with Netflix. Have you seen Stranger Things Season 3 yet?

The Bounty Contract and Pirate Incursion events will be coming this summer as well. The Pirate Incursion, in particular, is very good for command experience.

In SWTOR guild news, we are in the middle of our Summer of 300. Several guildies are working on getting to command level 300 on all 8 classes, because that achievement is being moved to a Feat of Strength in October. Come and report your progress as we run around the Galaxy doing important stuff during MFN on Tuesdays nights. Or just drop a note in discord to let everyone know how it's going.

July MEGA is going to be on July 27th and will kick off AIE's Summer of Love for 2019. We are going to Yavin IV to kill the Ancient Threat. This is a summonable boss that many people have never seen, so be sure to attend!

It's time for Captains on all three platforms to take a relaxing break on Risa, and get their hands on the T6 Risian corvette, new costumes, emotes, and more!

Nullsec local chat blackout is in full effect making for a lot of sneaky roams, black ops hunting and all pve activities are either on hold or only committed to while a high alert Home Defence fleet is up and active. Sovereignty attacks are still full force but drifter attacks seem to have ebbed off. Alot of paranoia and turtling atm mixed with sneaky attacks and lipsmacking for blingy kills :)

Right now just MFN. On the 20th we will be trying for a chance to get drops such as cosmetics outfit pieces, cosmetic pets, mounts etc.

During SNL (MFN) we took down 2 of the 3 wings of the Great Barrows.

GW2 Monday night MFNs are still rolling and open to anyone in the guild. All levels are welcome and the activities vary depending on the group that comes together.

Starting Tuesday, "Special Event: World Boss Rush" is returning for a week.

I bet that will be something the guild can get involved in! :smiley:

Shadowbringers! Yea! It is a masterclass on how a MMO expansion should be designed. AIE has been super active in FFXIV lately.

Current membership sits at 114 characters.

Many of the current players of the game have or are wrapping up the MSQ for Shadowbringers. For those that have, they are all saying that it is such a wonderful and emotional experience, and with it being one of the best Final Fantasy stories told.

DURUS Plot Overview

In Shadowbringers, the game follows the player as they journey to Norvrandt, a copy of Eorzea which where the light is flooding the world, and we take up the mantle of the “Warrior of Darkness” to bring balance back to the world, saving Norvrandt and in extension, saving Eorzea. The journey to do so, is an emotional one, as the story and characters are well thought out, superbly voice-acted, and show character growth, as any good story should do.

DURUS Gameplay

There’s plenty to do in the new expansion, besides just watching a great story unfold. All jobs were reworked for the new expansion, some more than others. 2 new jobs, the Dancer and Gunbreaker. Trusts, which are NPCs that will help you through the MSQ dungeons to help you learn the new ones. They are slower than actual players at clearing the dungeon, but good for those that want a stress-free experience on their initial clears. 8-player content still require 8 actual players, so there are times that grouping will be needed.

At the time of this recording, Sunday, 7/14, we have the following instanced content.

8 Four player dungeons

3 Normal 8 player trials

2 Extreme 8 player trials

We will be getting new content soon. The dates are approximate and subject to change, but this is what we have to work with right now.

ABOVAN Tue Maintenance / Content Update

On July 16th, which is this week, we are expecting to have the release of Eden normal mode, the 8-player raid. Normal is commonly known as story mode.

On July 30th we are expecting to get Eden Savage, which is the harder mode for raiders. Also, this is when we will be getting Tomestones of Phantasmagoria, which will be the high end game currency for the time being. Finally, we will also be getting a new dungeon, Lyhe Ghiah, which will be our 9th 4 player dungeon.

So, these are being added to the already impressive 126 already existing dungeons, trials and raids in the game.

DURUS AIE Schedule

To accommodate this, AIE in FFXIV will be working off of the following schedule for events for us to do group content with. These are just times that we are shooting for, and may be subject to change in the future, but we wanted to have something up on the wall now, to see if it sticks.

Tuesday/Thursday (11:30 - 2:30am EST) - XFN - X-treme Nights!

More traditional AIE Raid team.

Higher level content, cutting edge, expect death, and probably pugs to start

Discord voice, MANDATORY!!! (mic not required, but preferred)

Pre-defined roster will take precedence.

Wednesday - 9:00pm EST - Mandatory Fun Night

Leveling and more accessible content. I.E....
