The Alleged Wrestling Podcast

It’s the usual mix of not talking about wrestling until we talk about wrestling that you know and love! We covered last weekend's excellent NXT Takeover show before getting into all of the wrestling from the week. We finish with Elimination Chamber predictions and why Sheamus vs Drew is the only WWE Title match to make for Wrestlemania as things stand...

We picked our winner in this week's Wednesday Night Scuffles between NXT and AEW Dynamite before our usual quick chat about WWE Main Roster stuff.

We close the show as we always do by picking our Best/Worst Match, Best/Worst Segment and Wrestler of the week.

It’s the usual mix of not talking about wrestling until we talk about wrestling that you know and love! Elimination Chamber starts and we rant about how there should have been qualifying matches and the missed opportunity for a Kofi and Ali storyline here.

It’s the usual mix of not talking about wrestling until we talk about wrestling that you know and love! The “forbidden door” seems to be open after Kenta from NJPW showed up on AEW Dynamite this week. Will this continue?

It’s the usual mix of not talking about wrestling until we talk about wrestling that you know and love! It’s Royal Rumble weekend and our expectations are low, but we spend far too long talking about all the cool stuff they could do anyway!

It’s the usual mix of not talking about wrestling until we talk about wrestling that you know and love! An average week of wrestling this week but at least the Undertaker on Joe Rogan provided the avenue for Wrestling Twitter to make a fool of itself again!

Our recording software decided to mess with us this week. It took four recordings and sixteen tracks but we did it, it’s done. Please excuse any weird areas (four of them) where it sounds like we quickly jump to something else, lol.

Anyway, it’s the usual mix of not talking about wrestling until we talk about wrestling that you know and love, including two challenges to Goldbergs 24/7 Worst of The Year title.

There was so much wrestling this week that we had to cover actual wrestling, I know right?! Wild. The show starts off HOT with multiple 2021 inaugural 24/7 worst segment of the year awards dished out but who walked out of the podcast with the title by the end...and who’s next?

Anyway, we cover Wrestling Kingdom 15, AEW New Year’s Smash, NXT New Year's Evil and some of WWE Raw Legends Night and Smackdown shenanigans. NJPW produced some very early match of the year contenders, AEW had a huge angle with the former members of Bullet Club getting the band back together and NXT put on a great show.

It’s that time of year again, the end of it, so it is time for our very first attempt at a quiz show! To accuse us of stealing the “Quizzlemania” idea would be to accuse those lads of stealing the Table Quiz concept so…

Anyway, there were lots of rounds, lots of questions and lots of alcohol was consumed as we did our Quiz on 2020 in Wrestling. Enjoy!

It’s that time of year again, the end of it, so it is time for our very unprepared awards show! Everything from best TV show, Video Game, Movie and of course the prestigious “worst of the year” awards are decided while a live chat room listens on in horror!

This is the eleventh edition of our single elimination tournaments where we pick the best of the best to go head-to-head. We each have a vote on the matchups, we each have one “Golden Buzzer” to automatically advance our pick to the next round or to use strategically. In the event of a tie the live listeners pick the winner of the round! It’s a great old time.

This week...The Best Christmas Movie Tournament
