The Alleged Wrestling Podcast

We eventually got to Wrestling this week discussing NXT Takeover 31, the WWE Draft and of course AEW and NXT. Did WWE just move the same storylines to different nights? Why break up the New Day? Should WWE go back to the old way of just announcing the wrestlers who are actually moving rather than ones that stay?

We picked our winner in this week's Wednesday Night Scuffles between NXT and AEW Dynamite. A mixed week for AEW this week, we discuss what could be next for Miro among all of this week's topics

We close the show as we always do by picking our Best/Worst Match and Best/Worst Segment of the week.

This week is the tenth edition of our single elimination tournaments where we pick the best of the best to go head-to-head. We each have a vote on the matchups, we each have one “Golden Buzzer” to automatically advance our pick to the next round or to use strategically. In the event of a tie the live listeners pick the winner of the round! It’s a great old time.

This week...the best British or Irish Sitcom!

The show starts with some video game chat and it stays like that for a long time. Not sure what happened after that, something about this weeks AEW being great and wrestling fans being a disaster to deal with. I dunno.

WWE made a baffling decision to ban it's talent from using “Third Parties” like Twitch and Cameo. The ongoing issue with WWE commentary was highlighted in a huge way with the Bayley turn on Sasha Banks the same week Mauro Ranallo left WWE. The NXT Iron Man Match going to a draw. Fantasy booking AEW storylines coming out of All Out.

It was a rough week for AEW after the excellent Cody and Brodie angle last week while NXT had one of it’s best shows in months.
