The Alleged Wrestling Podcast

We deal with some more news as regards the Speaking Out movement. WWE have started to release some Wrestlers who are accused. AEW have opted for suspensions in lieu of further action to come down the line. Impact are on a firing spree with Tessa Blanchard now free to work elsewhere...if they’ll have her?

We also get into the awful handling of virus testing in WWE with stories of up to 30 people being infected at the PC.

We also talk about the final episode of The Last Ride and why The Undertaker is definitely not retired yet, lol.

We picked our winner in this week's Wednesday Night Scuffles between NXT and AEW Dynamite and talked a little about Raw highlights and lowlights.

We close the show as we always do by picking our Best/Worst Match and Best/Worst Segment of the week.

There was only one real topic this week. We spend most of the show discussing the stories victims have told of abusers in Wrestling which have shocked us all this week.

We chat about UFC Fight Island and why AEW should move Fyter Fest there. Our thoughts on NXT Takeover In Your House. This week's news about Paul Heyman and Bruce Prichard and why it could be a disaster.

We pick our winner in this week's Wednesday Night Scuffles between NXT and AEW Dynamite, make our WWE Backlash 2020 Predictions and finish up with a preview of the already spoiled segment on Smackdown between Sheamus and Jeff Hardy. LOL, that is all.

Social media hypocrisy ran wild this week. We had a chat about that and many other things before getting into our AEW Double or Nothing review. The Stadium Stampede match was a hot topic this week, we liked it, others didn’t...spoilers.

We then got into our usual “Wednesday Night War” breakdown talking the good and the bad of each show before deciding who we thought won this week between NXT and AEW. Mike Tyson & pals got into a scuffle with Chris Jericho & pals. Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher beat the hell out of each other in a Cage Fight Pit Fight Cage Pit Fight. FTR finally debuted in AEW, we talk about how we would like to see the FTR vs The Young Bucks story play out going into the next PPV. All of this and more is covered.

This week is the seventh edition of our single elimination tournaments where we pick the best of the best to go head-to-head. We each have a vote on the matchups, we each have one “Golden Buzzer” to automatically advance our pick to the next round or to use strategically. In the event of a tie the live listeners pick the winner of the round! It’s a great old time.

This week...a tournament of our favourite Wrestlers!

We start out this week talking about the horrific news that was the passing of Shad Gaspard, the heartbreaking Owen Hart episode of Dark Side of The Ring and of course the first two episodes of The Undertaker: The Last Ride.

It’s a heavy start to the show but we managed to talk about The Last Dance before getting into WWE Raw, NXT, AEW Dynamite and of course we make our AEW Double or Nothing 2020 predictions!

We had a slight technical issue while recording where one person is a little behind the others. It’s been mostly cleaned up but you might notice things sounding odd here and there. You may not even notice it and I am just being crazy but hey, I was up front about it!

Annnnyway, Wrestling! We talk about the fallout from WWE Money In The Bank, the news of Becky Lynch’s pregnancy, the Brand-To-Brand Invitational idea and of course this week's AEW and NXT shows which saw AEW hit their lowest rating yet. Why are the Wednesdays shows doing so poorly in the ratings?

This week our friend Nick joins us to break down a great return to live TV for AEW, a “Takeover level” NXT that didn’t quite live up to the hype and of course we predict this weekends WWE Money In The Bank show!
