The Alleged Wrestling Podcast

Wednesday Night was flat in week where we thought Raw was good, it’s Bizarro World Maggle! The Ric Flair and Randy Orton promo segment stole the show this week alongside another fun edition of Raw Underground. AEW felt a bit off this week and have we already seen enough of the Presidential segments? We break down AEW’s “Tag Team Appreciation Night” in detail this week. We also cover all the news this week including Seth Rollins and his long term storylines comments, WWE moving back to live broadcasts from an arena and whatever else happened, I forget. Words. Oh yeah, Braun Strowman can teleport now. Spooky.

We picked our winner in this week's Wednesday Night Scuffles between NXT and AEW Dynamite before getting into Raw & Smackdown thoughts.

We close the show as we always do by picking our Best/Worst Match and Best/Worst Segment of the week.

Retribution makes a tiny impact on proceedings this week, so to speak. We talk about the week of AEW Heels shenanigans and the AEW Women's division argument online. Love for Raw Underground and a fun messy Raw in general. Smackdown was awful this week, it is discussed. We also get into AEW’s great main event and NXT feeling a little flat.

In a week which saw a new NXT Champion crowned we too got to crown a new “24/7” worst moment of the year champ to kick off the show. We didn’t even wait for the Intro music to start...some things can’t wait.

We started off with our memories of the late great Jack Charlton before getting to this week's terrible episode of Smackdown. We then move into some general Main Roster thoughts and the rumoured Evolution 2. What match should be the main event?

Night 2 of both NXT Great American Bash and AEW Fyter Fest both had their ups and downs, we go through it all.

We picked our winner in this week's Wednesday Night Scuffles between NXT and AEW Dynamite and talked a little about strange booking on Raw.

We close the show as we always do by picking our Best/Worst Match and Best/Worst Segment of the week.

This week is the eight edition of our single elimination tournaments where we pick the best of the best to go head-to-head. We each have a vote on the matchups, we each have one “Golden Buzzer” to automatically advance our pick to the next round or to use strategically. In the event of a tie the live listeners pick the winner of the round! It’s a great old time.

This week...the best 90’s movies!

For the first time in many months there was very little news to cover so we basically had a wrestling podcast on our wrestling podcast. It’s been a while! It was pretty much a deep dive into Night 1 of both NXT Great American Bash and AEW Fyter Fest.

We also discuss why we think it’s time for AEW to focus more on Singles wrestling and why now is the time to break up Kenny Omega and Hangman Page.

We picked our winner in this week's Wednesday Night Scuffles between NXT and AEW Dynamite and talked a little about strange booking on Raw.

We close the show as we always do by picking our Best/Worst Match and Best/Worst Segment of the week.
