There are a lot of people on social media talking about how "companies shouldn't get government support" claiming that only "the workers" deserve the help. Today we discuss why keeping companies solvent and paying wages and benefits is CRITICAL to your financial safety today!

Across the country and around the globe we are seeing businesses being forced to close and people are losing their incomes as the result of the precautions we are taking over COVID19 and the dangers it could present, but are we over reacting to this entire situation? We examine mortality numbers from the state of New York in relation to the total number of daily deaths from COVID and wonder why.

The death toll of COVID19 is far less than the common flu or daily deaths from heart disease right now, so why is the Government making such a big deal and the media distracting us...What is really going on, what is happening that they don't want us to know about? I don't care what your political leanings are, your REPRESENTATIVES in both houses of Congress don't give a crap about you. This has never been more evident than this week's display of complete unwillingness to even present a bill that directly represents the COVID19 financial issues without any back-door political favor "earmark" spending that is totally unrelated to our current crisis. Both parties, Republicans and Democrats have injected billions of our tax dollars (debt really) into PORK and this behavior is DISGUSTING!

When implementing a "stay at home" mandate for Ohioans, Governor Dewine carved out a list of essential businesses that needed to remain open that includes any industry with a lobbying arm that makes the shelter-in-place order both confusing and unattainable for the majority of the residents of the state.

Faced with the COVID19 Pandemic President Trump is faced with a massive medical and financial blunder that can cost America it's prosperity and him the Presidency in 2020. Have the steps he has taken been not enough, have they been appropriate for the situation or might they have all been laid out as a way to force the Democrats to feel enough pressure to stimulate the economy and thrust us back into prosperity before the election. So maybe he is the most sly dumbest president of all time?

In this day of CORONA Virus effecting every area of our lives and our finances it is due time to put a bit of a different perspective on the whole COVID19. How does this virus relate to other diseases that we are surrounded by every day? What is more dangerous to us, this virus or a driver who is stoned on his now legal marijuana? In the "abundance of caution" era of sports we live in NASCAR "postponed" about 2 months of racing after first floating the idea of "closed track" racing with no fans and only limited media. This could have been a great decision, but what would have happened if NASCAR was the only live sport on Television for those 8 weeks? How much revenue and how many fans could have been won over while we are all locked down with CoronaVirus COVID19?

Having extensively traveled abroad I have a perspective on the American Healthcare System in comparison to those that I have ex-perienced in Europe, Africa, Central and South America and today I discuss this in the light of the COVID-19 epidemic we are faced with.

While Americans hunker down in their homes and businesses shutter for the flu, the Federal Reserve and the Government as a whole is searching to figure out how to quell the onset of financial destruction brought on by the social distancing that has been mandated by local and state governments.
