In this American Warrior Show episode, multiple time national and world champion Max Michel walks us through a full World Shoot training plan, starting today. I gave no pre-question to Max before the show and after a brief introduction we jump right in.
Max has an incredibly deep background in practical shooting as well as applying the skills he has honed over the years as a pro in his instructional role to Law Enforcement and the U.S. Military. This discussion includes a great deal of information and concepts that the average or elite level shooter can assimilate and apply in thier own skill development.
This is an incredible show! Read more in his bio below:

THE ARMY MARKSMANSHIP UNIT
Based at Ft. Benning in Georgia, the USAMU is renowned for taking young shooters and developing them into National and World Champions in a variety of disciplines. Michel’s prominence in the Practical Shooting arena made him a top recruit for the USAMU’s Action Pistol Team and in 1999 he began his career as an Army shooter and trainer. During his 10 year US Army career, Staff Sergeant Michel’s duties included serving as the Military Coach of the Action Pistol Team. He was also responsible through his training programs for insuring the combat readiness of soldiers fighting the Global War on Terrorism. Utilizing his vast competitive shooting experience, Michel developed one of the most dynamic training programs for today’s soldier and elite warrior.
THE CHAMPION’S REIGN
Today, Max Michel, Jr. is one of the most dominant shooters in the world. His training methods and focus are beyond compare and have earned him a well earned reputation as a top tier athlete and instructor. He is the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) World Champion (XVII, USA) as well as the only shooter in history to hold Seven World Speed Shooting Championships. Michel also owns multiple World Speed Shooting records as well as being the first Action Shooter to win all USPSA Area Championships in the same season (2010). As an international competitor, Michel has represented the United States in the last seven International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) World Shoots and returned home each time with team gold medals.
