The Americhicks

Welcome to the Heart of the Matter podcast.

Kim Monson and Molly Vogt are your hosts.

This is the time of year that so many businesses finally see a profit.

Taxes and regulations could be said to be part of the reason as to why so many businesses must go so deep into the year before they are in the black.

Molly has some thoughts on the recent terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California.

What is the best way to help needful people, such as refuges, while keeping ourselves safe?

Let us just push pause and figure these things out.

Andy Peth for the Party of Choice (www.thepartyofchoice.com) joins Kris and Molly to speak about Yale's effort to train their students "how to talk to your bigoted family members".

Freedom is not just for one race or another race, it is for ALL people.

The education bureaucracy keeps kids down, part of the way it does that is by limiting choice in education.

We have a responsibility to take care of ourselves and our families, and government limits our ability to do so.

Molly and Kim are joined by Louisiana State Senator Elbert Guillory (www.elbertguillory.com) who is in town campaining for Casper Stockham (casperforcolorado.com).

Casper Stockham is running for office in Congressional District 1 against 18 year incumbent Diana DeGette.

Are you doing battle on the battle field of ideas?

ISIS cannot be negotiated with, they want to murder you and I because we do not believe what they belive.

Meanwhile, our President assures us that ISIS is the JV team.

Sharia law is NOT compatiable with our nation and its founding ideals.

A caller believes that perhaps the fears concerning ISIS and Islam in general are over stated.

That said, he also believes that all immigration into America should come to and end.

Former Gitmo detainees again posing a danger to free nations around the world.

Where does Governor Hickenlooper really stand when it comes to relocating Gitmo detainees to Colorado?
