It's easy to say, 'Every day is a good day,' but what does a good day actually look like?

I'm going to give real examples of how I define a good day.

Some of them might surprise you, but if you let me explain, you'll realize that every day truly is a good day.

Now that we know we are children of God, every day is a good day!!

It may seem too good to be true, but with these items and practices in place and through God's grace, we can see the good in every day.  

We understand that we have a choice.

We understand and accept that we are responsible for our feelings. 

We understand and accept that no one owes us.

We understand and accept the community is essential.

We understand and stand on the promises of God.

At the end of the day, Father makes no mistakes.  He is only here to love you, not hurt you. 

Once we believe that, every day is really a good day. 

It's time to Declutter!!

You now know and have accepted your identity as a King's Kid. To cement that identity, we must rid ourselves of old mindsets and habits to make way for the new blessings Father has in store for us.

I am excited to say that this is the last episode of the season! 

We have had a journey together, and we are at the beginning of a beautiful new season in our lives.

My friend and sister, Jennifer, is joining us today as we discuss what it is to be a Black person. We’re speaking about our experiences and what we want for future generations. 

We have a few more days of Black History Month, but we know Black History is American History. And this conversation can go on for hours! (And we did talk for hours, lol) 

We are hopeful and stand tall in our identity as King’s Kids. 

Loving yourself is essential, but how? 

I discuss ten ways I love myself, and of course, there are other ways to do so, but maybe you can adopt some of these to begin your self-love journey or to add to what you have. 

Love is in the air! 

This is the love month; some of you are preparing for the big. 

Identity is the base of your love. Your beliefs about yourself drive your love for yourself; how you love yourself is the way you love others. 

We say I love you.

Ciara is a staff and a mentor at Urban Youth Collaborative or UYC, where she and her team help students establish Christian clubs and spread the goodness of God to middle and high school students.

Ciara tells us her story about identity and how different sources alter our beliefs about ourselves, how learning who Father is taught her who she is, and how to dive into our emotions to find the lies and truth of who we really are.

Our special guest is Katrina Phillips, also known as Ms. Kay! 

An Army veteran and retired Youth Detective, Ms. Kay is now a Community Collaborator. Along with working alongside law enforcement, community leaders, and church leaders, Ms. Kay mentors young people into wholeness, purpose, and their God-given destiny.

Join us as we discuss her story and journey to answering the question, Who am I?

After self reflection, I realize the reason why I have difficulty addressing and resolving issues with others is due to not addressing my problems with God.
