We then go to the Premier League where the Happy Hammers take another big scalp as Chelsea wobble, Liverpool rely on Mr last minute to provide another iconic moment and Newcastle finally pick up their first 3 points of the season.

Then finally it's time to preview a MASSIVE week in the UCL, who will make it to the knockout rounds and who will make it to the Europa League? Could we have a West Ham vs Barcelona Europa League final that we're all dreaming of?

  • Season 02 - Ep. 26 - Passaparola, damn it!
    It's pod time, people!

As always on a Friday, it's time to serenade you all with some good ol' football chat!

We start off in the Premier League, where Ruairi breaks down the situation at Everton, aka one of the most poorly-run football clubs in the universe. We also analyse the Merseyside derby alongside Manchester City's and Chelsea's wins, as the race gets increasingly more excited. The episode was recorded before Manchester United-Arsenal, so we're sure you will thoroughly enjoy Ruairi's predictions for the game...

Before jumping to Serie A football, we then take a moment to discuss the Ballon D'Or and Tommi breaks down why Juventus are being investigated by the Italian police and what they could be risking in court. Also, have you guys had a chance to read Ibrahimovic's interview at Corriere della Sera...?

Over in Italy Napoli slip away at Sassuolo, as Spalletti gets a red card and travels back home with a depleted team. Spoiler alert: at the weekend they host Atalanta whom, fuelled by Pasalic's hat-trick, make light work of Spezia. AC Milan also get a W but lose Kjaer for the rest of the season, and Inter keep applying pressure to the top with another convincing win under Simone Inzaghi's pragmatism.

After previewing this weekend's fixtures, it's then time to dive into a brand-new quiz inspired by an Italian tv show from the early 2000s. Ladies and gents, welcome to Passaparola! Who will be able to guess more football related questions, in alphabetical order, with a time limit of two minutes? Let us know what you think of it, we might as well bring it to our live shows on Monday night!

Relax, sit back and... enjoy your favourite football podcast!

  • Season 02 - Ep. 25 - Euroreview Mondays (livestream): November 29th
[This episode was recorded during our live Youtube/Twitch stream on 29th November]

It's time for your Euroreview Monday, people!

And what a weekend we had both in Premier League and in Serie A...

We start off in England breaking down Chelsea-Manchester United and the Red Devils' new lineup awaiting for Rangnick to be officially appointed manager. Are we going to see more and more of Ronaldo on the bench? And what's up with Big Rom?!

In the meantime Liverpool absolutely batter the Saints, Stevie G wins his second consecutive game in charge at Vieira's new home and Ruairi finally takes time to praise Arteta and some of Arsenal's players. But he also hints that it might as well be time for Auba to play off the bench... Finally, we address Brighton fans with a simple question: how the fuck can you boo our boy Graham Potter?!

Over in Italy, Tommi is over the moon after AC Milan pick up a second consecutive league defeat and Inter come aggressively put pressure on their bitter rivals after a convincing 2-0 win away at Venezia. But the main headline goes to Spalletti's Napoli, who make impressively light work of Sarri's Lazio with some of the most beautiful individual and team plays a football fan can be blessed with. Can they keep up this form and truly aim for the title...?

Atalanta defeat Juve away thanks to a relentless Duvan, officially making it the 5th Bianconeri loss in Serie A this season. And as Roma scrape a win against Torino, both Fiorentina and Verona fall to Empoli and Sampdoria...

Tune in and enjoy! God bless football!

It's Friday, and that means one thing: it's time for your dose of Anglo-Italian Pod, from Ruairi and Tommi!

This week we start off by taking you through all the Champions League action. It was a great week for English teams as City make light(ish) work of PSG and Kyle Walker impresses, Michael is at the wheel as United get back to winning ways, Chelsea hammer Juventus and make us ask yet again... do they really need Big Rom? Beautiful stuff also for Liverpool as Thiago scores a beauty and they clock up more points than the rest of their group combined! For Italian teams it was mixed fortunes, as Inter finally reach the knockout rounds after a patient win over Shakhtar, Messias gives us the moment of the week scoring a late winner at the Wanda Metropolitano, Atalanta refuse to hold on to leads and Juventus get battered by Chelsea (had to mention it again). Finally, we preview this weekend's Serie A and Premier League action.

Then it is time for our Weekly Topic, and it is the return of friend of the show Luca to take us through calcio history with a banger! We focus on our great city of Milan and how the black and blue half were made great. We're of course talking about the dynasty that is the Moratti family and how both father and son delivered success domestically, continentally and globally while creating iconic teams and moments along the way, from Catenaccio to counter attacks, from Suarez to Sneijder and from Herrera to The Special One... You don't want to miss it!

[This episode was recorded on our live YouTube/Twitch stream on 22nd November]

Ruairi and Tommi are back to talk you through all the Premier League and Serie A action, Ole is no longer at the wheel, but who is about to jump in the driving seat? Liverpool run riot against a youthful Arsenal who shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly and Liverpool put Arteta in his place, and we go through a goalfest of a weekend with a shout out for signing of the season Maxwell Cornet!

Meanwhile, in Serie A Inter stepped up to the challenge by ending Napoli's unbeaten run after Milan stumbled against Fiorentina to have their unbeaten run ended, and Gyan announced himself to the Giallorossi by scoring a brace off the bench to beat Sheva's Genoa, and bagged himself some expensive new trainers in the meantime, not a bad weekend.

We then take a quick minute to preview all the Champions League action this week and talk about a great returning for one last mission in Serie B.

  • Season 02 - Ep. 22 - Arsène's modest proposal
What kind of Friday would it be without your favourite football pod?!

We are back ladies and gentlemen, and what could we possibly start with if not the international break? Of course, the Azzurri make our headlines after their woeful scoreless draw in Belfast which now means one thing, and one thing only: playoffs... Will they be able to overcome the competition for the three remaining European spots? They might as well, but both Ruairi and Tommi think that finding a reliable striker would be of paramount importance. In other news, England make super light work of their group and punch their ticket to Qatar 2022 together with a very exciting list of European and South American nations.

It's then time to preview the Serie A and Premier League weekends because club football is finally back! Liverpool-Arsenal, Inter-Napoli and much, much more... what will you be watching?

In a shorter-than-usual Weekly Topic we then take a look at Arsène Wenger's proposal for a new international calendar that might as well revolutionise football as we know it. So, here's the pod's two cents on how we feel about it...

And finally, finally, it's time for what could be the very last One Minute to Kickoff: Quiz! This time around, Ruairi needs only one point to be crowned winner. But will he be able to do it...? Listen up and find out!

Find out! But it's not only the Premier League with new arrivals as we welcome the great Sheva back to Serie A as he takes over Italy's oldest club Genoa, can he save them from the drop, bring some steel to a leaky defence and maybe learn a thing or two from Mattia? We shall see...

Then it's time to turn our heads towards the International qualifiers, is Tommi nervous about the Azzurri's date with destiny as they take on our friends the Swiss?
