It's Friday, dearest football fans, and it's time to take a look at the state of the AFCON as well as the transfer market across Italy and the UK!

Joined by friend of the pod and sports enthusiast Devo, Ruairi and Tommi are ready to review all of the latest AFCON round-of-sixteen action. As the Comoros fairytale story ends in a thrilling matchup against Cameroon, Senegal keep another clean sheet and make it 2-0 against Cape Verde, Hakimi stuns the world with yet another incredible free kick to complete the comeback against Malawi and both Egypt and Equatorial Guinea punch a ticket to the quarter finals after a nerve-wrecking run of penalties... So what shall we expect from the quarter finals? Listen up and see for yourself: it all kicks off on Saturday!

Finally, in the ending of this shorter-than-usual episode, we take a look at the standout transfer so far in Serie A and in the Premier League, as Serbian wonder boy Dusan Vlahovic joins the evil empire, Martial and Adama Traoré sets off for some good ol' Spanish sunshine and Diego Costa gets ready to join Salernitana. It's Monday and it's football time, baby!

As Tommi dramatically gets rid of what he thought to be an iconic 'stache without nobody noticing, we get ready to discuss everything AFCON, Premier League and Serie A-related!

As Cameroon-Comoros unfolds before our eyes, Ruairi takes us through the crazy two-and-a-half hours of football that saw Burkina Faso come out winners against Gabon in a crazy penalty shootout, before reviewing the biggest knockout upset thus far, as Tunisia's mighty Eagles of Carthage defeat Nigeria 1-0 despite a very hard-fought game. And as for the Monday action, it's all about The Gambia's Scorpions who successfully get past Guinea with a stellar performance by Musa Barrow in the first ever AFCON tournament in their history!

It's then time to review all the action across the Premier League and Serie A, as Norwich see the light at the end of the tunnel, Chelsea defeat Tottenham 2-0 and Inter Milan see their lead grow to what could soon be 7 points...
