    It's time for football, people!

Tommi and Ruairi are ready to take you on yet another footballing journey! This time around we start from Turf Moore, where Burnley win 3-2 against Everton. Are Lampard's Toffees doomed for relegation? And if they are, what's next for the Merseyside club?

We then move on to Champions League football, where one man and one man only could possibly get the headlines this week: Karim, mate... are you f*cking kidding us? Back-to-back UCL hat-tricks?! What are you doing to us?! But it's not all blancos, as another Spanish team manage to pull off the upset of the week under the leadership of European Cup expert Unai Emery. And Ruairi has got some crazy stats to give the Basque manager the credit he deserves... Finally, we take a look at Liverpool's trip to Lisbon and the controversial Manchester City-Atletico fixture. Spoiler alert: we still love Simeone and we are all about his football.

It's then time for our Weekly Topic, this time around featuring a unique interview with former footballer, world traveller, book author and all around nice guy Seth Burkett. • Season 02 - Ep. 56 - Euroreview Mondays (livestream): April 4th
[This episode was recorded live on our YouTube/Twitch stream on April 4th]

It's that time of the week, people!

After quickly discussing and analysing the World Cup groups and Neymar, Messi and Mbappé finally all scoring in the same game, Tommi and Ruairi are ready to take an in-depth look at all the latest footballing action across Serie A and the Premier League.

Despite rejoicing for a clutch win away at Juventus, Tommi believes Inter need to turn their form around and do it quick if they intend on challenging AC Milan and Napoli for the Scudetto. Also, what was with all the diving at the Allianz Stadium? Boys, for the sake of the sport... grow up already!
In other news, Napoli collect three massive points away at Atalanta, and Ruairi raises the argument that they might as well be playing the best football in Serie A this season. Lower on the table, Roma extend their unbeaten streak away at Sampdoria while Lazio and Fiorentina also keep pushing for a European spot. As for Cagliari, Venezia and Salernitana... it's another zero-point weekend and escaping relegation feels like an increasingly difficult task.

As for the Premier League, Liverpool and Manchester City both win and get ready for the big fixture which will arguably decide who will be crowned English champion. Tommi, however, believes that Liverpool are playing with fire and could be found out sometime soon...
And what about Frank Lampard's Everton? After their loss to West Ham, Ruairi really can't see them escaping Championship football next season. As for Tottenham, the wheels seem to be spinning and we wonder... will Levy finally spend some money in the summer were Conte to stay?

Finally, there is just enough time to preview this week's Champions League quarter finals, so enjoy our wrong predictions! But we'd like to know... what are yours?

    Tune in and enjoy!

  • Season 02 - Ep. 55 - How much is a defibrilator?
The last international break is over, and it's time to return to domestic football, we start with a heartfelt message to Mr Infantino before rounding up all the World Cup Qualifier action.

First we discuss are Portugal a threat or are they being held back? We discuss what could be an exciting tournament for Poland and can Lewa get his first World Cup goals?

Then it's off to South America where the two giants look ready for action and is this the first time in a while that the trophy will be heading to the southern hemisphere?

Next up is Africa where unfortunately the football takes a back seat as lasers weren't the only things invading the pitches and what can CAF do to improve security at there stadiums? There is still some actual football talk as we wonder if Senegal are the best African team ever coming into Qatar 2022?

Then finally we stop off in North America where Ruairi has continued to make friends across the pond and we discuss The USA finally getting their qualification a week late.

For the weekly topic we are on the home stretch in both the Premier League and Serie A, so Ruairi and Tommi take a close look at the relegation battles, the top 4 fights and the title races. Plenty of predictions game by game and Serie A sounds like it's going to be tight! Do you agree?

Sit back, relax and enjoy the episode before what should be a fantastic footballing weekend!

  • Season 02 - Ep. 53 - "Eriksen came back before Spinazzola!" feat. Daniele Tinti
A very unique episode featuring Italy's World Cup débacle and a special interview with Italian stand up comedian and AS Roma fan Daniele Tinti!

On this very lonely Friday for most Italians, where could we start from if not Palermo?! Ruairi, with a big smile on his face, is curious to know how his co-host is feeling after the Azzurri will officially miss on the most prestigious international football tournament for the second time in a row. Spoiler alert: Tommi's rant is quite long and touches on a lot of different aspects of Italian culture... and after this, of course we will quickly review what else has happened in the Qatar 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.

It's then time for a special interview with Italian comedian, podcaster and AS Roma fan Daniele Tinti, who takes us through his childhood as a giallorosso fan, crying for Totti's retirement, (almost) winning one thousand euros on a football bet, taking dumps at the Stadio Olimpico and much, much more. Trust us, you don't wanna miss this one!

  • Season 02 - Ep. 52 - Euroreview Mondays (livestream): March 21st
[This episode was recorded live in our YouTube/Twitch stream on March 14th]

It's Tuesday and finally time for you to catch up with Monday night's livestream!

In this episode, Ruairi and Tommi unusually start their Euroreview from Catalonya, because this new-look Barcelona team is something we ought to discuss! After defeating Real Madrid 4-0 in the much anticipated El Clasico, we take a look at Barça's "bad season" and what could come up next in their trophy-filled history.

Next it's time to take our blimp all the way to England, where we take a look at the weekend's FA Cup action, which sees Crystal Palace thrash Everton (...and Frank Lampard has got something hilarious to say about it), City walk all over Southampton in the space of 15 minutes and both Chelsea and Liverpool comfortably tame their opponents. And hear, hear, Ruairi still backs Palace to unexpectedly win it all! Over in the Prem, we focus on Arsenal and Tottenham both getting three points at the weekend. Are they still in contention for *that* first spot?

Over in Italy, Tommi is not too keen to discuss what's going on at Inter, but tries to do so nonetheless. In a weekend where AC Milan, Napoli and Juventus all get three points, is it safe to say that the Nerazzurri are now out of the Scudetto race? We also discuss Simeone's penalty woes, Genoa getting their second win of the season after seven consecutive draws, a wonder story from Atalanta and, of course, Tammy Abraham- the newest hero in the city of Rome!

Finally, there's just enough time to take a look at this week's World Cup qualifiers... just how nervous is Tommi getting? Listen up and find out!

  • Season 02 - Ep. 51 - An Englishman, an Italian and a Brazilian walk into a bar
It's Friday and that means it's time for the Anglo Italian Pod and time for Ruairi and Tommi to talk all things Italian and English football.

We start with a return to calcetto for Ruairi with mixed results and a possible change in career for Tommi but some similar conversations. Then it's time to actually talk football, starting with the Champions League, are Chelsea more of a team than ever? Is Simeone-ball beautiful? How can football fans reassess their relationships with their players? And who is Ruairi's new obsession for Arsenal's next number 9? We then just have time to discuss another good performance but ultimately a loss against a top team and how the title race is back!

For our weekly Topic we celebrate St Patrick's Day by looking at the current state of the Irish football team, some promising youngsters to look out for before picking our top 3 footballer's to celebrate St Patrick's Day with.

Finally we preview another big weekend in Serie A with tests for Inter and a Rome Derby! While in England we have FA Cup Quarter-Final weekend with Boro wanting to put Chelsea in their place and a 90s throwback fixture between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest, as well as a London Derby between West Ham and Spurs in the Premier League!

    It's a bumper show, enjoy!

  • Season 02 - Ep. 50 - Euroreview Mondays (livestream): March 14th
[This episode was recorded live in our YouTube/Twitch stream on March 14th]

    Happy Tuesday, football fans!

On our customary Monday Night Euroreview livestream, this time around Ruairi and Tommi share their ground hopping experience at Monza-Vicenza before breaking down all of the weekend's action across the Premier League, Serie A and... an interesting little incident over in Paris.

Well, you've guessed it: Ruairi is indeed a happy Gunner and he shares with us the reasons why. But the big question is: would making top 4 be an overachievement? And would not making it be considered a disappointment? Elsewhere, Cristiano Ronaldo nets an incredible hat-trick to become the all-time top goalscorer across official competitions, and the fact that he did so against Spurs, well... that makes it even more enjoyable! Finally, we discuss Chelsea-Newcastle: why was it such a bittersweet spectacle?

It's then time to review the action across Serie A, as Genoa get a useless seventh consecutive draw (!), Juventus peek through at the top, Osimhen keeps Napoli's title hopes alive and AC Milan get yet another cynical 1-0 win to take the top of the table. But what about Inter? Make sure you listen till the end: there is a Nerazzurri-related rant coming your way...

    Tune in and enjoy!

  • Season 02 - Ep. 49 - They will f*cking kill you!
    It's football time, champs!

This Friday, Ruairi and Tommi are ready to extensively discuss Champions League football, Serie A, the Premier League and, of course, everything that is currently going on at Stanford Bridge...

We start from Anfield, where a one-goal win was not enough for Inzaghi's Inter to advance to the quarter finals. Were the substitutions way too conservative? And were Liverpool ever in danger of not going through to the next stage? Elsewhere, Bayern Münich take no prisoners and absolutely bash their Austrian opponents, while a 0-0 draw is enough for Guardiola's boys to punch a ticket for the following round of fixtures. But the game of the week was, of course, Real Madrid-PSG. And as we analyse the Blancos performance, fuelled by an incredible Benzema hat-trick, we can't help but ask ourselves... what's next for Les Parisiens?

But we also need to take a look at everything that is going on at Chelsea now that the Blues will have to face heavy restrictions on and off the pitch. As the Abramovic era comes to an end, we take a look at what it has meant not only for the Premier League, but for the footballing world in general...

Inspired by Karim The Dream, in our Weekly Topic we take a look at the Champions League's most iconic hat-tricks: from Ronaldo at Old Trafford to Lewandowski at Borussia Dortmund, what's the first name that comes to your mind?

Finally, there's just enough time to preview this weekend's fixtures across Serie A and the Premier League as we enter the hottest part of the race for the title. The standout game? We have a feeling it will be Manchester United-Tottenham...

    Tune in and enjoy!
