What's a love bird without a lover? One such bird by the name of Enrique had recently lost a mate but that wasn't all. He lived in a house where the occupants ran for their lives as their home burned down. Enrique was ready for a new mate and he followed our instructions, showing us exactly the mate he had in mind. 

In my early days as an animal communicator, I practiced my new craft on animals that belonged to friends. One such animal was Jack the cat. Jack showed me where I needed more trust and practice, and what it means when a cat says "Nope. Not ready to come in yet." We forged a new depth of trust and I learned how to accept the gift of time and solitude as I grappled with doubt and anxiety.

They tried every traditional remedy to keep the fleas off of their cats but nothing worked.  Could the Animal Whisperer solve their problem by asking the fleas to leave? I had a lot of questions about the Chinchilla when a pair by the name of Silver and Snow became my clients. These animals are some of the softest on earth and I was aching to get my hands around one of their little bodies. I wondered how their history with humans squared with their species as present-day domestic animals, so I asked them.

Suzan Vaughn, an animal communicator, recounts her experience with Kunda, a Python, and his human companion, Suriya. Kunda used a photo of a soft blanket to communicate his preference for varied textures. Despite Suriya's frantic search, Kunda reassured Suzan that he was safe and would return in time for their move. Two weeks later, Kunda reappeared exactly as promised, emerging from the wall into Suriya's arms. The story highlights the importance of deep listening and trust in animal communication, emphasizing that it is a form of telepathic communication as ancient and new.

Kunda, my Python teacher, taught me several lessons. And, shifting into a snake's perspective to understand a slithery point of view was enlightening. As an autonomous-type person, I fully grasped the need for time alone, but up until I met Kunda, I hadn't considered the same need for snakes. But this story is not all about me. It's about a reptile's perfect timing; timing that accommodated her human's needs.
