In this heartwarming animal communication story, I meet Pillow and Benny—two rescued rats in the care of foster mom Jackie, who has dedicated years to giving rats a safe place to land.

🐀 Pillow is a true "rat's rat." He thrives in the company of other rats and feels most comfortable surrounded by his little community, or "mischief." But he's wary of humans and is learning what it means to trust, feel safe, and live in a domesticated environment.

🐀 Benny is a very different story. Although rats are known for being social animals, Benny has no desire to join another rat colony. His favorite companion is Jackie—and his favorite pastime is exploring every inch of his beloved human!

Through animal communication, Jackie discovers that these two little rats have very different needs, personalities, and paths.
