Time for our 4th roll episode, and this week it lands on A Place Further Than The Universe, the first time a nomination from our three hosts is selected! What will Dan, Marcus and Nick think of the emotional highs and lows of Nick's nomination, and does it set a new high bar for roll episodes?
This week, Dan, Marcus and Nick needed a break from assignments, so we did a one take roundtable episode. Nick jumped in the host chair, and all three discuss topics such as their top choices for starter anime, anime they love but won't be using as assignments, something unrelated to anime that they are enjoying in life at the moment, and a few more topics. Let us know what you think of our "week off" format!
For Episode 15 Dan assigned the 2020 anime, Dorohedoro originally created by Q Hayashida. Will Nick and Marcus enjoy this Dark Science Fantasy show or should it have stayed in the Hole™ it crawled out of? Tune in to find out!

For episode 14, Marcus has Nick and Dan watch season 1 of Cyberpunk Edgerunners. Will they think its nova, or will watching it drive them cyber-psycho?

For episode 9, Nick breaks out his 2022 anime of the year, and assigns Dan and Marcus to watch the first 8 episodes of Bocchi the Rock. Will they think it's a great anime, or the greatest anime?
Disclaimer: DO NOT watch this show. It is very problematic. However, please enjoy this episode and listen to us talk about it instead of watching the actual anime.
For episode 12, we bring in special guest Kelsey Jaffer! Once again, we leave our fate to the dice…unfortunately. If you like extremely problematic themes within an anime then boy do we have a show for you! I really can’t give a good description of the episode, other than we spend about an hour 45 just ABSOLUTELY tearing this show apart. If you like Monochrome Factor, feel free to tell us why, cause man...we don’t get it. However, we still had a lot of fun discussing and just roasting. Enjoy everyone!

For Episode 11 Dan felt it appropriate to assign another one of their favorites after watching Vivy. How will this show fare compared to Vivy? Will the non-standard storytelling hit with Marcus and Nick?

For episode 9, Nick decides to try pandering to Dan's taste by picking an Isekai that leans into the cringy nature of Isekai protagonists with The Eminence in Shadow. Will Dan and Marcus appreciate the tounge in cheek tone, or will it be too much second hand embarrassment to handle?
For episode 8 we decided to change things up as we bring in our first guest! Bailey Wolfe joins us as we once again leave our fate to the dice and end up landing on Kimi Ni Todoke, a shojo romance anime. Will Nick be eatin good this week? Can Dan and Marcus stomach it? Does this cozy romance please Bailey's palate? Only one way to find out!
