The Anime Freshmen Podcast

This weekend we'll be hosting Anime Con UK, but first, the team is joined by an exceptional guest who you'll also find performing at the convention. He is the one and only Shao Dow.

He's a ninja, who moonlights as a manga author and rapper and on this episode, he'll be judging the team's rap skills.

Maybe we can add another string to our bow and the AF squad can go on their 1st rap tour?

First Studio Album: keep it fresh!

In a world devastated by war, pollution, and inequality, the Anime Freshmen are here to sprinkle justice and good old-fashioned chaos.

It's been a long time coming, so today we have a round table discussion of what an anime version of the Anime Freshmen would be like; name, power system, world setting, and if Karto would finally renounce his love for villainy and save us all.

Just as special as a Celestial Alignment or an anime with no fan service, is when those in the UK Black Anime Community connect, link up, and show the world our ninja way.

It's happened again, and joining us for this episode is Neni, the founder of Anime & Chill UK, who's been setting off rasengan waves in the community with her top-notch events. Vybz!

We take a deep dive into the Black experience in the (Bl)anime UK scene and give you our perspective on how it's been with a look towards the future. Dare we say we handled Business.

Join us.

P.S. We've been to several Anime & Chill UK events and each time, one of us nearly ends up in the A&E after doing a JoJo's pose. We'll let you guess who.

The era of AI is upon us, and Skynet has designated that against better judgement, we take a look at the anime called Police in a Pod.

Be afraid. Be very afraid. It's a bit of a sticky one.

Some say Star-studded, we say Fresh-studded.

The Annual Freshie Awards are back and so is the eye damage from all the anime binging.

Send help.

As per tradition, The Anime Freshmen get a lil boujee, roll out the flying carpet, and go through this year's Crunchyroll Anime Awards from Best Animation to Anime Of The Year. Plus we have a very special guest on today's episode; Ed from *Frankie Voice* Suuuper Anime Podcast.

Shoutout #Crunchyroll, who we love by the way.

Can we talk about Isekais for a minute? About why it's such a great subgenre?

It won't take long...

Actually, it might, just to get Gerrd's take on them and why his hate is real.
