Team 7 is back baby! Well...Kinda, Sasuke has left the village to find Orochimaru. So, Shikamaru is Sasuke's replacement in this film. Also, there's an old man whose purpose is to fill in back story, but he only knows enough to press upon the importance of stopping the antagonist and not actually help. Sakura is still here, its ok, she doesn't get in the way. Naruto does his thing.

This time they're fighting against a power crazed psychopath, who is after the Legendary Stone of Gelel...or was it the mine of Gelel? It's not very clear, but they're after something. Also, Gaara is here to carry the movie on his back, but somehow doesn't end up at the final fight.

We're going back a few decades to visit our favorite spirit detective and allies! 

Yuskue and crew have to save the spirit world, from the netherworld, while in the real world. It makes sense in the movie...sort of.

If you can Ignore weak plot devices, 1994 animation errors and a bad dub from circa 2002, it's the best movie we've reviewed this week!
