The Anna Mann Podcast

Anna Mann opens her doors to the delightful David Edwards, a young (ish) man desperate to get into acting, but is it too late? (yes), Also Anna explains the latest issues with Sue Clinch sticking her fingers together and her short lived turn in the little known Tennesse Williams play 'Tit in an oven'.

Anna Mann is back interviewing another old friend, Sam Stokes (Him and Her's Kerry Howard). Its an achingly real and unmissably strong look back through time with one of our countr greatest if least remembered actress(es). Once at the height of her fame in 70s sitcoms Girls on the Bus she now lives in an empty house constantly pecked by chickens.

Actress Anna Mann recounts her wayward life and talks to other Thespishes. This time I chat to my old pals Madeline Hoof / Huff and Babs Rawson who appeared with me a long time ago in the ground breaking Keyboard Warriors.

So full Disclosure - I have been ill darlings and also without anyone to help me with sound so quality wise this is a pile of shit, it really is. The interview is cursed with an ugly buzz, the wraparound bits are accidentally done in mono and there appears to be a tiny man writing with a pencil throughout. That said content wise - could be the best yet - ignore the dress, love the lady.

But mostly about the shower actually.

In the red hot last episode of the first season, Anna recalls a long and very unproductive call to the emergency services. Phil and Anna then spontaneously review the Staircase and Phil giggles like a toddler.
