In part 6 I will talk about an interesting therapy I found for my anxiety; and how this led me to a recovery of nearly all of my anxiety symptoms after 7 years of difficulty.
In this chapter of my story I will talk about my initial road to recovery. I'll talk about how medications began to help me overcome my depression and anxiety but also how my skills at handling stress improved. I was finally able to live the life that I wanted to, but it was far from free of challenge.
After returning home early from my full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I found myself very depressed and feeling hopeless about my future. This is without a doubt the hardest year I ever had dealing with anxiety and depression. I tried many different medications (over the course of my anxiety treatment, I would end up having taken 22 different meds). I'll discuss how I got through and how I finally found myself on the road to true recovery.
In this video I will discuss my challenges with Anxiety and Depression as I return to full time missionary service for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'll talk about the things that were difficult for me and the things that helped me.
In part two I will discuss my first relapse just several months after having graduated from high school that lasted for nearly a year. I will talk about my first experience with Major Depressive Disorder and the things I did that helped me get through. I will also address my untimely return from a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
