Michael Lim grew up in Melbourne’s West, a region of Victoria where youth unemployment is at its highest in Victoria. He still resides in the west and works at YLab, a social enterprise through FYA. His work focusses on employment and education policy for youth.

He shares his own experiences growing up on the west side of Melbourne and takes us on a journey, exploring the traditional education system where he was and I quote,  “a shit student but a fantastic learner” and also unpacks how as a society we can better support youth in vulnerable communities.
