Welcome the Driven Female Entrepreneurs Podcast!
The weekly show that helps you dream bigger and achieve more in your business, by learning what works from successful female entrepreneurs.
In this episode
In this episode of the Driven Female Entrepreneur Podcast, I speak with Anke Herrman, a Business Coach, an Online Tech Mentor, and the author of Taming The Tech Monster.
Anke grew up in East Germany and had always dreamt of moving to different countries. She was a linguist, but also loved maths for its structure.
Upon moving to Australia, she faced difficulty finding a translator job and found herself working in the software industry. It was here that she discovered programming, and though overwhelmed at first, she soon came to see it as just another language, and a straight-forward one at that. Eventually, she moved to London where she accessed more tech opportunities.
In 2004, she left the corporate world and moved to Spain to pursue her creativity, starting a dress-making business. However, she soon realised that she needed a change due to burnout. Recognising the similarities between dress-making and starting a business, she saw an opportunity to become a coach and put her skills to use.
Now, she uses her knowledge in technology, teaching, psychology, and business to help coaches and educators with their online offerings. By handling the technical aspects, they can focus on their clients' needs. Her guidance leads them to achieve their goals and create prosperous online businesses.
Don't miss this episode as Anke shares her insights on guiding you through the creative process of establishing a prosperous online business by using your passion - without the struggle.
"When building an online business, give yourself some slack to allow for that learning phase and don’t beat yourself up when you feel overwhelmed." - Anke Herrmann

About Anke
Anke is an online tech expert, coach and author of Taming the Tech Monster. She started her entrepreneurial journey in 2004 when she quit her software developer career in the UK, moved to Spain and started a sewing business. It felt like riding a wild elephant until she realised that building a business really is a creative process, the same as sewing a dress or developing software - a magical mix of vision, skill and soul.
She now uses everything she's learnt about tech, teaching, psychology and business to guide coaches & educators from big idea to sold out online offers. She takes care of tech for them so that they can focus on taking care of the clients they're here to serve.
