Please compare this recording, Bartok - Take 2 with Bartok - Take 1. Was it better? What differences did you hear between Take 1 and Take two, specifically regarding measures 41- the end?

1. intonation

2. steady beat (don't let the changing time signitures fool you. The beat should remain constant throughout section 3)

3. subdivisions (eigth notes should line up precisely on the down and up beats. Be careful not to use too much bow.)
