Karen Ray had all the details for the UCC Player's next production, which is a performance of Educating Rita in the stunning Aula Max of UCC. Alan Kiely is one of the co-writers of a brand new musical called "Shame the Devil" which tells the story of an ambush, abduction and execution in Dripsey 100 years ago. Tomás McCarthy, conductor of the Cork Youth Orchestra, came into studio with the orchestra's 2 Leaders Anna Jansenn and Cillian Ó Cathasaigh, ahead of a HUGE gala concert in City Hall with the band True Tides. And Paul Casey joined us on the line to talk about the next Obheal gathering in the Long Valley in Cork and online, in a club celebrating 15 years of poetry, open mics and over 1,000 guest poets since they began!
