We haven't repeated an artist yet since we started! What talent there is in Cork! And IT'S FANTASTIC that since the announcement of the end of time and capacity restrictions that theatre events and concerts can now renew their planning. So here's to the gigs and real income returning. Also on the show this week poet Tom McCarthy spoke to Conor Tallon about his new book of memoir and journals, "Poetry, Memory, and The Party. Journals 1974 - 2014" ......covering over 40 years. It's such a special publication and Tom was a fabulous and unassuming guest for someone who has made such an impact on Irish Literature and the careers of so many others. Conor also chatted to Assistant Curator in the Crawford Gallery, Dr Michael Waldron, about this week's Work of the Week. Elmarie chatted to cellist and composer Ilse de Ziah about her solo cello work and her recordings with The Diviners, including the most fascinating story of the Battle of the Starlings in Cork over 400 years ago!
