In this week’s message, we journey into Exodus 18 where Jethro rejoiced and praised God for His mighty deliverance of Israel. Before any strategy or service, there must first be praise for what God has done. Worship sets the tone for wisdom and work. From this passage we see timeless truths for God’s people today:

1. Souls are Saved – Jethro rejoiced to hear of Israel’s deliverance, reminding us that the greatest victory is when a soul is set free by the power of God.
2. Strategy is Set – God’s work is never without order. Jethro counseled Moses to appoint leaders so the burden could be shared, showing us that God’s plan always involves wisdom and structure.
3. Servants are Sent – The task is too great for one person. God raises up servants to help bear the load, so that His people may be led well and His name glorified.

1. The Glory of God (Romans 5:1-2)
