Part Two of the Spring Special is here, as Eric and Zeff continue their face-off to decide the Best TV Shows Ever! (capitilised just to show how committed the guys are...). On this show they're looking at the best Sci-Fi and Fantasy shows, mini-series, and cable dramas.

Listen out for clips, debate, and of course, a decision on which of our duo really have a handle on quality.

Spring is here! And to celebrate, the 2016 Spring Special (Eric has no idea what that it is) celebrates by asking you to stay inside and watch TV!

For this 2-parter Eric and Zeff are picking what they think are the best TV shows ever, in categories from sitcoms to cable dramas. There's plenty of clips as the contenders are ranked, as well as some other recommendations.

In part 1, it's cop shows, comedies, and prime-time dramas. Along with the clips, our duo will argue about the scoring, and realize that their picks for what's best is only the start of the discussion......

Eric and Zeff put six topics in the hat and draw them out randomly, lottery-ball style.

So for the next hour, it's Robots, (for the old show referenced that has a load of links, click here), TV ratings, amongst other things. And those other things? Well, Zeff's announces he's getting married, for starters. How's that for burying the lead!

Meanwhile Eric muses on March Madness brackets and Arsenal fan Zeff shouts out one his favourite websites.

But alas, they forgot the bell....

What do you mean, you didn't win an Oscar? Well, don't worry, the Atlantic Voice has never won any awards of any kind, not unless you count Eric winning "Most Likely to Succeed" in 3rd Grade.

On this show, Eric and Zeff shovel dirt on the Oscars, while taking a quick look at the career of George Kennedy; they check in on how much dirt is being flung around in Donald Trump's presidential campaign; and there's discussion on what you do with the dirt when you're digging under your house.

Eric and Zeff are here to break down the recent discovery of gravitational waves! Yes, that's right - if the recent news that the universe is full of, well, stuff, has left you feeling a little underserved, then who better than the Atlantic Voice to put it into laymen's terms.

So if even if you don't know your beer steins from your Einsteins, this is the show to get you up to speed. Of light.

Finally, the Atlantic Voice has awoken - Eric and Zeff have at last got around to talking about the new Star Wars blockbuster.

Superfan (well, kind of) Eric, and super-cynic (obviously) Zeff give their view of goings-on in a galaxy far, far, away. And if you still haven't seen The Force Awakens, or maybe just don't care, Eric lines up for two hours to see Bruce Springsteen and Zeff waits an hour to watch a middle school play.

It's time for the annual Resolutions Round-up show! For this the 2016 edition (or should it be looking back on 2015?), Eric and Zeff are reviewing their year in, well, in resolve.

Eric has some beer that he brewed, and Zeff is recommending some books that he read. There's talk of Fight Club, author Derek Robinson, and Hurricane Katrina through the media's eyes.

Does this sound like heady stuff? Well, don't worry, the guys lament not winning Powerball, and set their resolutions for the upcoming year.

Happy 2016, loyal Atlantic Voice listeners. And if you're alive and healthy going into the new year, well then you won't be appearing on this show. You see, Eric and Zeff are going to look at the spate of celebrity deaths, why there's more chance of dying at New Year, as well as some other seasonal tidbits.

If that all sounds a little too morbid for you, never fear, there's figuring out the origins of the college bowl game, and European soccer's derby matches.

The Atlantic Voice's 2015 Christmas Special rolls on (Part 1 here) with Eric and Zeff challenging each other to find the perfect ingredients for the ultimate holiday season.

First the guys debated the best music to listen to and the best movies to watch - now the discussion turns to food and drink. From eggnog to Christmas pudding, mulled wine and shortbread, it's the best and worsts of the season.

Eric talks with his mouth full, while Zeff rages over dried fruit - it maybe the holidays but it's business as usual. Merry Christmas from down in the New Basement Studios!

That's not the case for the Atlantic Voice as Eric and Zeff line up for the first-ever Christmas face-off! So what does that mean, other than a lot of "fs"?
