Today Krista talks with Jasmine Rose of Humble Wild Wellness about her mission to help women reconnect with their bodies and appreciate the sacredness of the womb and the menstrual cycle. Jasmine’s personal womb journey began when doctors were unable to offer her an explanation for a period of bleeding which lasted for almost 365 days. Feeling disconnected from her body and dissatisfied with the solutions offered by conventional medicine, Jasmine felt called to learn more about her body and re-establish a relationship with her womb and her reproductive cycle. She is keen to dispel the taboos that exist around menstruation, and she offers courses, mentorship, and monthly sacred womb circles to help women celebrate their wombs, tune into their cycles and explore issues around femininity and fertility.

Krista speaks with Alexandra Carter, negotiation trainer for the UN, award-winning Professor of Law and Director of the Mediation Clinic at Columbia Law School. Her recently released book, Ask For More:10 Questions to Negotiate Anything, reveals the surprising secrets of successful negotiation and Alexandra stresses the importance of asking the right questions, really listening to what the other side has to say, and knowing when to stay strategically silent. She encourages everyone, especially women, to know their worth and to have the confidence to ask for more, not only financially, but also in their relationships and in their everyday lives. Alex hopes to dispel the notion that negotiation is selfish and she wants women to understand that by standing strong in their worth and their expertise they can teach people how to value them and inspire others to follow their example.

Krista explores the law of attraction with Nick Breau, a breakthrough specialist, who helps his clients achieve significant progress in their personal and professional lives. Nick understands what drives success and what keeps people trapped in negative thought patterns and, during this episode, he explains how to identify, and ultimately transcend, the negative emotions and perceptions that prevent us from fulfilling our true potential. He reminds Krista to always stay connected to her inner being and realize that everything she attracts into her life, (even if it seems undesirable), can ultimately help her to learn and grow.
Nick describes the mechanism of synchronicity, the state of flow that occurs when he’s living wholly in alignment with his highest self, and discusses how to attract financial abundance by focusing on the freedom and emotionally enriching experiences that money can bring. After achieving financial success and fulfilment in his personal life, Nick’s current manifestation practice concentrates on uncovering new levels of awareness and he loves sharing his expertise with others through the Power Manifesting Collective, an online membership group that aims to build the most vibrationally aligned community on the planet.

In today’s show, Krista catches up with her yoga teacher, Reiki master, friend and mentor, Allison Eaton. Allison has been teaching Reiki, yoga and meditation for 14 years and she certified Krista as a Level 1 Reiki practitioner during her yoga teacher training in Hawaii in 2016. Since then, Krista has gone on to receive further attunements and she is now a Reiki Master, who uses the healing power of Reiki every day to balance her energy, clear her chakras and deepen her spiritual awareness.
Allison explains that Reiki, which originated in Japan, means universal life force energy and is a stress-reduction technique that is administered by the laying-on of hands. She describes the process of tuning into the life force and transferring it to the person receiving the treatment, knowing that the energy will always provide exactly what is needed in the way of physical, emotional or spiritual healing. Reiki can be used to heal yourself, treat others, sharpen your intuition and deepen your connection to source. It can bring courage, calm, and peace of mind. To continue to be of service during the Covid pandemic, Allison now offers online Reiki training and virtual Reiki treatments, which are just as effective and powerful as her in-person sessions.

In this special episode of the show, Krista interviews her friend and favorite singer-songwriter, Trevor Hall, whose new album In And Through The Body, was released on the 25th of September. Trevor talks about the joy he experienced during the long and complex process of creating and recording the album. He then explains how its focus on his personal experiences, rather than on abstract or spiritual ideals, marks something of a departure from his previous work. He tells Krista that the album is an exploration of his own humanity and expresses his hope that it will inspire joy in those who listen to it and encourage them to reflect on their own lives. Trevor also talks about how social media can skew our sense of reality and he describes how he tries to distance himself from both the praise and the criticism he receives online.
