Ben Levin is an autistic teenager who has been in love with stories ever since he was a little boy. “Stories constantly pop into my mind like magic and I feel a need to share them with other kids,” says Ben. The published author of the multiple-book series, “Nellie’s Friends” written for grammar school readers, Ben also authored “Ollie and The Race” for early readers. 

His breakout novel, “In The Hole” (Jumpmaster Press, Fall 2021) gives hope and inspiration to young adults and their families who face homelessness and economic insecurities during this challenging time. Ben’s greatest wish is to bring joy through his writing to kids all over the world. Ben is proud to be autistic and is using his status as an author on the spectrum to serve as an example of how autism is not a setback, but a gift. 

He wants others on the autism spectrum to know that they are as capable of following their dreams as anyone else. “The label doesn’t matter,” says Ben. “We are capable of making our dreams come true too!” Born in Lexington, Massachusetts, Ben currently resides in New Jersey with his parents, brother Jake, and two dogs. When he isn’t writing, Ben enjoys reading, playing sports, hanging out with friends, and listening to the Beatles.

Author Katherine E. Soto- Creating New Worlds is a writer of fantasy novels. She was born and raised in California with a few teen years spent in Georgia and Tennessee.  She has a BA in Anthropology and earned three teaching credentials. She taught for twenty years, fifteen spent teaching in 6th grade learning handicapped classrooms.

Her first writings were free-form poetry, although there are fond memories of creative stories written for her grandmother. Katherine enjoys composing short stories, flash fiction, poetry, sci-fi/fantasy novels, and nonfiction. She claims her writing muse is a dragon who rampages in her mind until she sits down and starts creating. She has written a sci-fi/fantasy fiction novel, with a series in mind.

She enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy books, creating art journals, and antiquing.

Tom Leihbacher has lived in Briarcliff Manor, New York for most of his life. After graduating from Briarcliff High School and then the University of Florida, he returned home and began a career in the media and advertising sales business. 

He and his family live in the Tree Streets and enjoy a rich life filled with church and community involvement and great friendships. He listens to Dr. Cook's Walk with the King broadcast each morning before boarding a Manhattan-bound commuter train at Scarborough Station; passes through Law Park and the Pine Forest frequently; enjoys membership at Sleepy Hollow Country Club; stops for sunsets over the Hudson River and once in a while can be found skating at one of the frozen ponds in town.

Richard Kaufman originally hails from Belleville, NJ. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1986 to 1988 before a temporary break in service. He would continue to serve in the Army National Guard from 1991 to 2012 before medically retiring after 23 years of service. During his time in the service, Richard supported multiple operations, including Operation Enduring freedom. He held three military occupations, Armor crew member, Calvary Scout, and Infantryman.

Like many veterans, Rich is no stranger to struggles. He struggled with substance abuse addiction, traumatic brain injury, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Recently, Rich celebrated 32 years of sobriety. Having overcome drug addiction, alcoholism, and homelessness, he now helps people struggling with depression or other mental health or addiction-related issues.

The community knows Rich as the comeback coach and author of ‘A Hero’s Journey from Darkness to Light.’

He also is the host of the 8th most listened to veteran podcast online, ‘Success… Your Why, Powers Your How’. Elizabeth Johnson-

Brooklyn, New York native, Elizabeth Johnson is a break-out author with a very promising writing career ahead of her. Signed with PlaTy Multimedia & Publishing, Elizabeth is introducing her first work to the world of children’s books on May 16, 2021. Over the years, Tyrell honed his skills as a writer by ghostwriting novels, penning screenplays, and adding film directing to his repertoire. In 2019 he released his debut novel “Stolen Innocence” as an independent author. Realizing the struggles as an independent author, Tyrell decided to write and produce books as a business, thus forming “PlaTy Multimedia.”
