This Terrible Love by Miranda Warren is an utterly mesmerising account of life on the road with a performance (Dance group) but from the perspective of one who has undergone a fundamental shift of awareness into the state that many have come to call 'Awakened' (Though Miranda would likely not so define it). The writing is sublimely poetic, enchanting and frank, dispelling many of the myths of what it is to live without a sense of a person at the helm of things - at the helm of anything at all! I have selected (with Miranda's kind permission) some extracts, and, being a male narrator, neutralised the gender from the original text to avoid it sounding a little strange!  I've also taken a few contextual liberties in order to make the reading have a certain rhythm. I obviously cannot recommend this treasure of a book highly enough.  (I'm So lucky I get to do this!!!)

This reading is taken from the preface to the course which sets out the fundamental principles upon which the whole course rests.  Again, there is considerable licence taken in my interpretation and though I believe it reflects what the course is saying, it may not be to everyone's taste.  There will be more to say about these fundaments as the series progresses, but this represent a good starting place. Welcome to the first recording in a new series entitled SEVEN MINUTE MIRACLES. In this series, I will be sharing readings from various sections of A Course In Miracles. They are a mix of verbatim narration interweaved with my own interpretations and translations. It may not be to everyone's taste and I make no claim as to the accuracy, but I do feel it is true to the spirit of the course as I feel it to be.   It is not a prerequisite to have read or even heard of A Course In Miracles as these recordings stand alone without reference to other sections. I hope it makes the course accessible to those put off by the somewhat complex religious and masculine style of writing. This first recording in the series is from Chapter 29 section 111 entitled 'God's Witness'  I will not be using the term 'God' but will replace it with terms such as Eternal being, Infinite Love and Timeless Being, as feels appropriate. I will also attempt to make the readings as gender-neutral as possible, though I know in this recording a number of masculine pronouns have slipped through the net

In this Guided Hypno-Meditation recording, I will guide you to the awareness and quality of your present-moment experience which disentangles the attachment to the mental noise that calls your attention to projected fearful scenarios—freeing you just to be as you are irrespective of how life shows up. This recording is addressing psychologically manufactured fear; worry, and anxiety. It is not addressing in-the-moment existential fear that requires action to avoid harm or injury, which is necessary for the body to function in the world.
