After many years working in various government type entities, Emily increasingly realised the power of data to better inform policy to create better outcomes for more people. 

That culminated in her creating Impact Lab, a portfolio of tools that calculate the good you do and Frank Advice a consultancy that helps organisations understand the outcomes they want to achieve.

Andy spent 17 years building technology to help businesses guide their own success. Until after a relationship break-up he had a good look at his life and what was and wasn't working for him. This led him to a journey of self-reflection about what it means to be human individually and collectively.

Through that process, he realised that there could be more to life and decided to go in pursuit of more purpose. Now he helps people access their innermost truth to reveal their clarity and power from the inside, which guides them through each purposeful moment.

He's recently started a new business FEELREAL. With an agency background, Andy is aiming to use those skills for good. FEELREAL is a social platform and consultancy that serves for-profit businesses, non-profit organizations, and community collectives that are committed to co-creating a just world.

Michelle Sharp! Where to start!

She is best known for her role as Chief Executive of Christchurch-based impact organisation Kilmarnock Enterprises. 

Together with the incredible team, she took them on a journey of transformational change, transitioning Kilmarnock from a charity-based model to one of New Zealand’s leading social enterprises. 

Prior to that, she spent over one and a half decades working in the Telecommunications sector, one that she has now returned to. Driven by business excellence and social change, she's now embarking on a new journey with the team at Vodafone. Here she aims to bring the best of the world’s digital innovation and inspiration to all New Zealanders and use digital innovation to drive positive impact for our communities.

In this conversation, we talk about Kilmarnock's journey and how it eventually managed to certify as the worlds first not for profit B Corp.

Since the dawn of civilisation, there is an idea that has been known to us and yet we have never really fully integrated it successfully into any society.

That is the idea of living a life of purpose.

Since we started recording ideas and philosophies we have known that purpose is the key to the best life you can live.

But right now could be the best possible time in all of history to finally make this idea take hold.

Imagine with me for a second a vision for a future world that we can only barely comprehend.

A world where every human gets to thrive in a way that is restorative to each other and our planet.

Pretty audacious aye?
