Marc Leishman won his fifth PGA Tour title in style after a superb 65 on Sunday at Torrey Pines.

With Andrew Landry at one stage taking a six-shot lead during the final round, the tournament victory looked to be in the bag. But he was reeling after blowing a six-stroke lead on the back nine Sunday in The American Express.

But he regrouped — telling caddie Terry Walker, “Let's go get this job done, like, quit messing around” — to win with a shot to spare for his second PGA Tour title in 80 events, and first, since the 2018 Valero Texas Open 48 starts ago.

Englishman Tommy Fleetwood finally got back into the winner's circle this week after a win at the Nedbank Golf Challenge hosted by Gary Player.

He started the day six shots back but carded a brilliant 65 that included three eagles. His score of 12-under was then matched by 2019 British Masters winner Marcus Kinhult. The pair were competing for a colossal $2.5 million and it was Fleetwood who held his nerve with a par on the first playoff hole.
