Near Sydney, Australia, in 1990, a woman, her sister, and their children were driving down the highway when their van door flew open and a man dove in behind the seats. He screamed "drive! Go!" As she drove away, she saw another man, gun in the air, standing in the road, staring them down.

Little did anyone in the van know at the time, but the man standing in the road would later be coined "the Backpack Killer."

While Australia boomed in the backpacking and tourism industry though the 1980's, Ivan Milat, was honing his craft.

Deemed a natural born killer who likely boasted antisocial personality disorder traits with other psychopathic tendencies, Ivan decided that to kill was not enough...he needed to play.
