Domestic Violence/Abuse cuts across all communities, race, religion, colour, creed or class. In the UK, from the period between
March 2018 and March 2019 around
2.4 million adults from aged
16-74 experienced some form of domestic abuse. Most people assume physical violence is domestic abuse, WHICH IS INCORRECT.
We will be explaining different forms of abuses and how it impacts the victim. We also discuss why most abusers are male. We will also talk about domestic violence within the South Asian communities. We urge everyone to take the time out to listen to this episode.
